Ooh love it, they are so colourful i love them all together like that :)

Theres a couple of wavebirds your missing though, theres a silver one & theres a 2 tone white & blue club nintendo one. And theres a keyboard like the one you have but it's black & white. But apart from those i'd say your pretty close to 100% it's quite an achievement to get all those as some are pretty rare.

    Oh & welcome :)

You're still missing some Nintendo GameCube controllers...PLUS!!! Some of your links are a little broken.

Yeah I'm aware of all those controllers, the wavebirds I see as copies of other colours (platinum, gundam, club nintendo) so thats why I only want the wired controller version. The original wavebird is a unique colour though, hence why its there. There's also the cost and availability, but the holy grail to me is the milenium 2000 controller (which was also the most expensive).

    EDIT:
Just checked the links, they all seem to work but the server is a bit slow tonight.

Most of the clear N64 controllers are just copies of themselves.

No 2 styles are the same. Its the same reason there's only a white minipad in the collection, because the other minipads are copied colours.

That kind of doesn't make sense though as the 2 other wavebirds are unique colours too. But obviously thats your criteria for collecting, so not our place to judge.

    IMHO...

    Criteria or not...

An awesome TRUE Nintendo GameCube controller collector will do EVERYTHING in their power to acquire EVERY SINGLE type of Official Nintendo - Nintendo GameCube controller ever released (I'm not talking about Officially licensed controllers though (e.g. Hori), because that's another whole story, which is ok to be optional)...or else...

What's the freakin' use of collecting?

I'm sorry if you're offended by something I've said, I joined this forum to have fun and meet people with common interests :)

The Club Nintendo (White/Blue) and Gundam (Red/Copper) Wavebirds aren't unique colours, they were wired controllers first that were adapted to make a Wavebird. I've always got one eye open for them, but the gold or panasonic Q controls are much higher up on the list :D

I'd much rather share information and talk about our favorite things than argue over what constitutes a collector, but even if not the most dedicated surely i count for something! :p

Well i don't mind, it's nice to have new collectors on here. It's indeed meant to be about fun, i think people forget that sometimes.

Hehe i totally forgot about that gundam red wavebird, thats a nightmare to find now as there was only a 1000 made for club N. It's the only club N controller im missing.

Awesome collection! I love how many colors they released back then. Nowadays controller colors are rather limited.

I know, right? I was just taking the piss at the fact that some people force completion-ism as a concept for a collection.

    There's what's called a Collection and then there's what's called a Complete Collection.

Notice the extra word in front of it...mm yes.

Anyone posting their shit here is welcome, because it's nice to see that people are involved. Yes, you can call them out when they claim false facts, but you just can't gun a man down for trying his best.

I hope I haven't pissed off anyone, that's just my view of things :p
