That's a wonderful collection of different colors. In my opinion the GC controller still remains as the most beautiful gamepad of all time.

Don't let yourself get pissed off because of some elitist opinions, every collection is work in progress at some point. A collection is built step by step, some people forget that. And that apart, you're already almost finished man. Not a long way until you can call it complete :)
You can probably pick up a Lodgenet controller quite easily on this forum, they have been for sale rather frequently over the past couple of years.

    Thanks for the replies guys!

Being anal about collections is in my blood since pokemon cards (complete mint sets of those hehe) but one different thing about this lot, is they are all used as required (I would say daily, but not that much any more) so its a *bit* more relaxed on having every last one.

Those lodgenet controllers are kind of cool. I've seen the gamecube versions on ebay as well, but what is really interesting is the actual lodgenet device itself. The 64 version looks similar to a normal n64 motherboard, but with a kind of dual pcb in the game slot.

When i get around to it i'll post up my game collection, but far less impressive, 50 odd n64 carts and under 10 gamecube games :p

What is the story on that? Fake? Never seen a small Wavebird.

I love the collection. Honestly, always love seeing lines of multi-colored accessories!

Man, I really want the plain Yellow N64 controller and that Lime Green see-through one all the way on the right. So sexy.

I was going to buy that "ASCII keytroller" for the GCube, but never went through. I just love it for the bulk factor, such a fatty controller! And the Pure White and Emerald Green ones right above it are to die for.

    Also,
    Welcome to the Forums!

Why would you go on saying whats the use of collecting if you don't have all the official ones and say that all the others can be optional? Couldn't I then go on to say,
"IMHO, Only Super True Lovers of Nintendo would collect every controller to be manufactured for a certain system"?

Have you heard of progress? You are a collector (I assume), are you satisfied that you have everything you want before you put pictures up of your current collection?

The use of collecting is for self-enjoyment as I see it, that's why everyone has a different collection. Most people's aren't complete and probably never will be, but that's okay.

    @Crazy
It's an early prototype of the Wavebird, presented at Space World 2001 when the GameCube was first shown to the public. Would be cool if some of these units would surface, but I somehow doubt it because it's Nintendo...

Thanks for the info, had no idea the Wavebird was presented alongside the Gamecube for its first showing. There was a Wavebird prototype sold here not too long ago, but it looked like a way later model IIRC. So it is possible this could surface, but I wouldn't hold your breath, and I entirely doubt it considering it was probably behind Nintendo's closed doors since the start.

There is also a prototype floating around for the standard n64 controller, back when it was still considered the "Nintento Ultra SixtyFour", the main difference was colour, the same as the console instead of light grey, and the joystick was taller with a larger flat piece on top.

My ultimate goal is the one and only gold E3 controller, gold front, black back, gold leaf looking insignia on the front, and signed by about 4-6 nintendo people including Miyamoto. It was was won in a Starfox64 competition when the finalist got to meet Miyamoto, and ended up beating him!

Only a dream though, if it ever came up for sale it would be worth my entire collection and then some!

I also believe the Wiimote setup was originally meant for the Gamecube, but due to delays it would have been too late in its life to make a profit and hence why it went straight to Wii.

I must apologize about my previous post, because I know for sure it was pure rudeness. Had a fight with my missus and took it out on the innocent.

Pretty much yeah. They allowed you to play N64 games in hotel rooms. Not sure what they connected to or if a N64 is inside but at $8 an hour I wouldn't exactly use it.

My memory was blurred, I remember seeing a N64 Hotel system in a hotel when I visited the states. They had coiled cables rather than the straight ones we see in retail consoles.

Thanks for clearing it up

Ah! The Novatel in Homebush (Sydney) I think has a PlayStation system like that.

I remember mentioning this somewhere before...

But they charged you $12 for Cool Borders 3 for 1 hour.

Thats a shame... I got my portable now

    And nice collection!
