Then it seems to me that mazora dreamcasts should have more high value than custom 78s,since they are more in high demand and more sought after.
I searched all info i have seen about this model and I remember one mazora sold for $2500 on Ebay 2 yeras ago or so.

I checked about the mazora dc,signed one,and it seems it was signed by a famous motorcycle rider but seems to be very very hard to buy one of those.

Let me know your opinion since I made a search and found this info today.

uhm.. there are more s.t.a.r.s than 200+1 . atleast 5 were given away by a japanese dc magazin ( don`t know wich one it was , thou). anyway, these units come without ID no. !

    odd isn`t it ?

by the way , a signed Mazora (mint) will cost alot more than 1500euro , if you ask me :)

thats correct , as long as you speak about "common" DC systems.

it was way easyer to trace a mazora or custom some years back. sure they were expensiv but you could find them, nowadays you don`t even find any for sale :/

@Your Tom: A seller we both know offered me his signed Mazora for 1400.- Euro a year ago. I don't think that prices changed much.
But i also said that you've to expect some more than 1500.- Euro for a signed one.

Don't overerstimate those Bioahazard DC's whithout sign - you could easily rip the sticker off a "regular" console.

My main pont was infact people judge the rarity by production numbers but those numbers don't say it all or don't say it all CORRECTLY.
Infact, more pieces could be out there and the only real good factor to judge seems to me to be the REAL chance to buy them on the market.

many serious dc collectors had or have the chance to buy a custom 78 and maybe never got the chance to buy a signed mazora, that makes the value higher for sure in my opinion.

Other problem for sure would be to avoid FAKES:a custom78 is so plain made that could be easily duplicated.

If you know some fellow collectors it's just a matter of money.
Give me 4000.- Euro and i'll get you a Custom + Mazora tomorrow.

WEll,I dug up my last contact and the only guy who had a signed mazora I knew of was Steven M. and he sold his to a very rich collector as far as I know(and it was even number 2 out 500!).
Other than that,I guessit is almost impossible to locate a signed mazora.

My friend Markus C. has the custom and the mazora for sale as far as I know.

    NoI'm from Switzerland.
I like a lot your dc system collection and was thinking about putting some money into dc collecting but it seems to me it is very risky.
I like the mazora but it is pricey and hard to find(since it seems ot me the most beautiful system IF actually changes color***you can confirm me that since you are lucky and have one)) since it is the first LE system released(and from a colector's point of view that is just a big plus).

I would have bought for sure the signed mazora for 1400 euros if I had known time ago,now I'm sure my money would have doubled.

But I do reckon I have seen for sale at least 2 or 3 customs 78 like you explained me,since it is not beautiful at all.

A Mazora really changes the color if inspected in sunlight from different angels. One of the coolest consoles ever - the pearl blue and pearl pink DC also look awesome.

It's hard to get all of the "common" LE Dreamcast systems. But if you're lucky you could get them cheap in Japan. I paid only 700.- Euro for Mazora and STARS each.

Was that Mazora DC from eStarLand? I'm not sure who Steven M. is but I was the one that bought the Mazora they had for a friend of mine in Italy.

How much does one of those pearl pink dc's go for? I might have to pick one up ;-)

IF you're lucky to have the chance to buy a mint one it would be worth approx. 500.- Euro.

Of course you get them cheaper on Yahoo - but i bet you didn't got a mint one for 35.000 Yen.

Add delivery + custom costs to your 35.000 Yen unit and you've at least 400.- Euro to pay.

Update: I added picture of my new Biohazard STARS Dreamcast. It's now only the Custom 78 left to complete my LE Dreamcast collection!
