first you bought your system from japan, then it move to US
month ago an italian(?) ask me to know how much money I can spent for this No2 maziora
but after it go back to europe I don t know who buy it

the first time you sell it, wasn t it to eastarland ?

As it was longtime ago the seller's name is difficult to remember , although Eastarland does not sound familiar.
I do recall the collector had some kind of car franchise in the US if that helps.And I also recall the seller already owning one Maziora machine , which he gave to his nephew to play on .

I think that signed Maziora #2 is still in the hands of an italian collector. His name is Simone.
I've also picture of your (once) unit somewhere on my HD.

A Sonic 10th.anniversary edition DC should cost you at least 1000.- Euro. From my experience it's one of the hardest to get Dreamcast consoles. I only know of 3 units for sale during the last years.

My Sonic DC is not for trade anymore. I'm just trying to sell Partners, Toyota, CSK-Edition and Trial DC at the moment to afford a Custom 78 DC and finish my collection.

 

Yes I know Simone , I've spoken to him on the phone a few times in the past. He purchased a Navi Saturn from me at the time but was also ask about the Maziora.

Glad Simone got the unit in the end , at least the Maziora is in safe hands.

 

I thought to buy the unit from Simone but a price of 2500.- Euro is a bit much for me.

2500 euros for this maziora sounds expensive, he don t give me the price he want for it but how much it will cost for the #1/500 ...

Did the 150,000 yen one on YJ get any bids? It didn't that I saw, wondering if it sold outside of YJ... and perhaps why nobody bid.

The Custom was for >200k Yen which was just silly...The custom didn't sell from memory....

 

I bought 2 custom dc less than 90000 (each!) 2 years ago !

 

There were Custom + Maziora DC at once on Yahoo some weeks ago.
The Custom went out without bid of 150.000 Yen first because everyone was bidding on Maziora DC (including me). The Maziora went high - i think above 200.000 Yen and then everyone went at the Custom DC which also sold for >200.000 Yen.

I was outbid in both auctions. I'm a bit angry i didn't went for the Custom DC the first time. I would be finished with my collection then. Grrrr!
I think that Neo from DCH got it. No clue who took the Maziora, it was a Rinkya bidder if im remember right.

Yahoo prices for the rare units are actually high due to foreign biddders. The last STARS DC sold for >200.000 Yen also. I only spent 200.000 Yen to got both Maziora and STARS Dreamcast from my Tokyo dealer.

 

So now you understand my hate for rinkya (etc), and why I voiced so in the other thread I assume? I hate to sound greedy, but they can really fuck up some good auctions. It was such a haven 5 years ago.

 

Just drooled all over my keyboard, how I wish I had a dreamcast collection like that one, that is the ultimate in rare Dreamcast's.You are the Dreamcast collector's dream

 

Thanks. I'll soon finish my collection with the Custom 78 DC. I had to sell some units for this but after all i'll have all major limited edition Dreamcast consoles. Pictures will be updated then.

Next thing i'll go for are Saturn Shmups!
