They work perfectly, no issues. I run my N64 this way and it works perfectly fine with the switch.

Right on! Thanks for confirming :)

Just ordered $100 in EURO RGB cables just so i can get one of these switches. Gonna try a cheap HAMA in the meantime in case it ends up being a couple months wait.

Cannot wait to finally have everything all hooked up via RGB without having to mess with wires.

Unfortunately my N64 is a NS2 chip, bummer. I did luck out with a 1 Chip SNES, so i guess you can't win em all.

Also, i was looking at the Male to Male cable from retro console accessories and it is $35!! Most expensive cable they sell.

Do i need a Male to Male that expensive? Or are there cheaper options? For connecting from the Switch to the XRGB?

Anyone else from the UK recieved their switch yet? Mine seems to be taking a hella long time....
Probably customs dragging their feet as usual, but still interested to know if anyone else in the UK has gotten theirs yet.

I'm in Australia and haven't gotten mine yet, tracking isn't working so I hope to have a fun surprise in the mail soon :)

Other international buyers have gotten theirs, so it'll be any day now :)

superg I want to thank you for having a notification when you went on sale. I bought mine from a retrorgb tweet. Certain other projects I was interested in were just some sneaky random time on the weekend and I missed out. Cannot wait to get it!

Just received mine in the US today.... works perfectly!! This was exactly what I needed to run both out to my PVM and to the Frame at the same time. Both outputs are perfect and the switching between the consoles is great as well.

Any idea when more might be available? I have about 10 consoles now and likely will add more, so would like to daisy chain 2 of them. I believe it was mentioned that this would work fine.

I've checked some international packages (those which track), some packages left Chicago ISC and didn't arrive destination country yet, some are in customs (UK, Germany), some on their way.
    Hope that helps.
Sorry for that untracked stuff, I didn't know there is a better way to ship internationally from here. (which I currently use all the time)

Where did you even find that? Their Ebay store seems to be empty and I couldn't find any other online presence via Google or the like.

It is expensive yeah, but made with fully shielded high quality cable. I paid for the pricey cable because it is made for this purpose by a cable maker with a long history of making top quality cables. With that cable you know it will work, won't reduce quality, won't add audio noise etc. With cheap cables you don't know what you are going to get. I ordered some cheap scart cables from china when I first started down the RGB road that claimed to be wired for csync but I found out once I got them they were actually sync on composite.

edit: you also get a two year warranty from them which is nice

All the cables I bought are the shielded versions, except for the JP21 to RGB adapter on the Framemeister which I'm thinking of replacing since I might as well have them all shielded. Yes, the shielded cables are more expensive, but I have so many power cables criss-crossing all over the place that I'm bound to get some interference.

That threw me off the first time too. I guess she closes when she gets enough orders to keep her busy.

Had a chance to test the switch today. Im am absolutely thrilled with this thing. It works flawlessly, and there is zero signal loss that I can see.
Only slight issue is that the image seems to be shifted to the left slightly, so I need to adjust all my Framemeister profiles accordingly.
I would happily recommend it to anyone who is thinking about buying one, but is put off by the price. Its worth the money, full stop.

    Glad you've liked it!
Image is shifted because sync stripper introduces slight processing delay. If you don't need stripping you can turn it off using the switch.

ooooh I see, ok then. I dont mind the shifted image, I was just curious as to why it happened. I'll most likely just leave the sync stripper on unless any of my console have issues with it. All of my cables are either sync on composite or luma sync anyway.

For what it's worth, I have a Hama switch and it works great, I needed to upgrade because I'm lazy and I wanted an automatic switch, and I was also maxed out on ports.

Superg's switch is TOTALLY worth the price once you can get your hands on it. It's fantastic. In the meantime though, a Hama will get you by.

Funny, that's my motivation for getting one too. In fact I tried to set everything up so that every system ends up going through the Framemeister, and therefore one TV input.

Now if only the XRGB mini did automatic switching between RGB, component, and HDMI... Then I'd truly be able to just turn on any system and play without switching inputs or channels!

So much thought and effort put in to just be lazy, lol
