As I've said I can open source everything JP21-related, but it seems nobody was interested in that either.

How much of a pain would that be for you? I would be interested if it meant that I could build one just for myself at some point, unless it is too much trouble for you to provide the necessary documentation.

I'll provide all the needed info including case drawings soon, let me finish with the SCART pre-orders first.

I see pre-order is closed. Is there a wait list I can be added to for the next productio run?

No wait list, but may be a limited amount for sale when he starts to ship them after they are assembled. After that, the pre-orders will go up again for the next batch and you can buy one then.

What would be the best way to get one of the extras? Is there any way to immediately find out? I suppose the answer would be to watch this thread, yea? I hope I'm able to snag one! :)

@superg Hey Greg - I have one of the first batch of switches, and I have an RGB modded PC Engine. I've noticed something strange. my PC Engine only seems to work if I connect it to INPUT 8. Is there something special about INPUT 8? Other than that it is amazing and thank you for creating this amazing switch.

    I'm not Greg :)
Input 8 isn't any special. Is your PC Engine output amplified? What cable do you use?

I bought it a while ago. The eBay listing says it uses the THS7314 chip. Came with an RGB SCART cable.

Here's a shot of the mod work.

I wonder if it's possibly not supplying enough power to one of the SCART pins? I have a multimeter. I could test if you think that's what I should do?

This version uses sync for detection, power on pin8/16 isn't needed. I don't know much about PC Engine mod, it would be great to check sync level - very likely it's low and switch isn't able to properly detect it, but multimeter won't help with that.

Thanks! That must be it. I also have a db-Electronics grafx booster that I haven't tried yet. Perhaps it has better sync levels.

Looking for some help. I think I may send the output from the switch to an Extron Rxi and wanted to know if there would be any issue using a normal VGA cable or if I would need to purchase something else. Thanks in advance.

Well that's some awesome news to start the weekend for me. Going to be great to have my setup finally decluttered.
