I would like to not go into to much detail about this item, I can prove it is the real deal any way you would like. I recently acquired a Xbox Debug kit from a friend. On the hard drive their was an old build of GTA San Andreas dated March 8, 2005. It has debug information displayed on screen upon starting. Their is also an in depth debug menu with everything from tools for level design, script testing, world testing/editing, input console, and so on. The controls for the game appear to be default with the expection that when a second controller is plugged in it acts as input for controlling the camera and acouple of other functions such as opening the mission select and being able to teleport the player. In addition when a USB keyboard is plugged it it always for even debug options.. Please see the see the screen shots below and the ones I uploaded here, http://imgur.com/a/w6724, for more details. As far as beta content guess, "Hot Coffee" and what appears to be network multiplayer is inplaced. Given the date I figured it was around 70% complete. My asking price is $400.00 USD, The price is low because it is data only. Any questions or further proof are welcome!

    EDIT:
Annnnnd kit and game being sold to a private buyer! Will update thread if that falls through!

Nice find! This is something I'd be massively interested in, shame I don't have $400. :( San Andreas is one of my all time favorite games, although I never learned much about its development. The PS2 version was released in October 2004, were the two games developed side by side or was the game ported to the Xbox once it was finished? It seems like there's a lot to be had from this build, although I'm not sure how different it would be from PS2 final being dated March 2005. Still the debug features in this build seem to be pretty extensive enough to keep me entertained for hours.

I am actually very unsure, I know the xbox version came out like a year later than ps2 that is about it.

Hmm, very interesting. Care for a fund-raiser/donation? for this I can share more than usual, but 400 is to much for me atm.
if 1 or more others want to share a buy, respond :p

Im not thinking about that high, but it depends on how much others are going in. for those reading this and thinking "it will be released", please, please help a bit. because I want to save some coins for other awesome items to share. As some may know I dont have much time, but going to upload the OXM disks I have. Instead of donating to me for it, donate here or other awesome Xbox projects.

this San andreas Debug version must be released ;)

Just in case the seller and Kev would agree to making a fundraiser out of this, I'd give a few bucks :encouragement:

I would love to see it released :)

I'm skeptical of this, are there any actual differences in terms of gameplay besides debug menu?

I am unsure, I haven't had more than a couple of hours to play this. It took me that long to find to the menu themselves haha

To all the people asking about a fundraiser: If you and other members wanna pool money in to buy this go for it, I'm not organizing a community dump or anything. I want this to sell soon and not wait for 400 people to donate a dollar lol.

Do I understand correctly that you are merely selling the data?

No physical product is actually for sale?

There likely wouldn't be a physical product for something like this. People need to stop thinking in terms of build CDs and carts for a lot of things :p

You'd think they would given that since the Dreamcast with the Katana kit there have been betas found on harddrives that were tested without ever being committed to recordable disc. Much cheaper to test builds out and a hell of a lot faster.

Oh so you don't even get the debug kit? $400 is waaaaay too much for me to even think about getting data.
