[FONT="]Halo 3 to me is a really good game and a lot more of an improvement from what we saw in Halo 2. The weapons are more balanced and you wont see you’re self-dieing each time because some one has a better weapon than you because of the more choice of weapons on each map. I can't tell you much about it at the moment but I can say it’s a lot different from the internal beta, which had two extra maps, and also the sword was in it. Sweet, I'm actually looking forward to playing this tommorow... Duke 3D would be awesome on Live arcade I think! I liked Doom on it. My hands are too funky for keyboard and mouse anyways! I liked Quake 3 and UT on DC so I see no problem using a 360 pad!
Trust me you will enjoy it ;-) I haven't played the multiplayer. But I was able to play through 6 missions of the campaign. Awesome stuff.
Am I the only person who thinks that "ball-shots" should be rewarded in FPS games? Snipe someone in the family jewls and get a prize!
Making sure the enemy cant procreate has its finer strategic value.... So far the Beta is great, and no real issues thus far. I can't stand valhalle though, but high ground is an awesome map. The graphics are better than I expected, especialy high ground and snowbound - both of which have very nice HDR lighting and some very cool details. It also plays better than I expected, but because of the limited game types you'll find yourself limited to using the AR most often - I have yet to dual wield the smgs or use the noob combo. I've been surprised by how bad some of these people are. Considering that non of the crackdown players are in yet, and outside of giving Bungie a blow job, the rule of three program is the only means of getting in ATM. How can people who would know about this, then play lots of halo, then fantically check the site to sign up, be so awful at a game the're apparently devoted to?
We should all sometime play this game! It's pretty fun for a beta. I like it scores more then Halo 2! I really hope this shapes up to be worth the price tag new!
I think its a pretty poor game. Just played the beta for a lil' bit and its as boring as the other Halo games and not pretty at all.
