I ended up getting the patched xbe's from the initial author, he was nice enough to IM me and the rest is history I am in no way mad/disappointed that you guys could not give them out. - Anthony
Yea i wasn't trying to be a dick its just usualy the old banned scenesters could often brag about too things and just go UR beat, kindov like that shadow complex alpha thing that they convienently didnt help out with.
That's life I don' take it personally I knew when I asked the question about the beta that it was a touchy subject and I prolly wasn't going to get help. That's just the way it works out :nod:
thats the way xbox is, this site was different, that's why most people flocked here, It has a less scenester environment (after the bans). People are usualy way more helpfull here, instead of just going "i can and you cant" we all atemp to help. But yea dont take it personaly.
Hey I never said anything bad about it, I got some help and answers and the fact they could not provide the tools to make it work does not bother me. It shows me that they are loyal and I appreciate that. Overall this is a great community and I enjoy it very much. :nod:
Im not usually one to bump old threads but since I cant get help anywhere else for this.... Does anyone have the the solution that lets you actually run the beta without needing Pnet, etc etc. I have had the H2 Beta for quite awhile now and have yet to get past the title screen. Would love to give it a go seeing as I am a big Halo fan. I have searched and searched to no avail on running this... also sent out a couple PM's with no replies. Any help is sincerely appreciated.

From last I checked nope... so at the moment I ( like CrAzY ) am stuck at title screen... I too would like to gather any info on ways to get pass the title screen ( because just like CrAzY, I've searched and searched but no success )
Sorry for the bump, I just didn't want to open a new thread about this. Would anyone be able to help me with the Halo 2 beta? I've tried disassembling default.xbe and editing opcodes to force certain execution paths but haven't had much luck (best sucessfull modification I've made is locking all menu options, 'this feature isn't available in the Halo 2 XBL beta'). I'm not necessarily asking for a patched xbe, I would really appreciate some tips on what to edit or where to look in the disassembly Thanks
That would be llsondowll, which I doubt. But What I said was actually what you need to look for. Or something similar then reverse from there. I don't have a xbe exactly but I looked into it year or two ago.

Well if you'd like to spawn the hidden objects like a mongoose or other weapons, I can help you with that.. I made a simple editor that could achieve that years ago. ;P
