Has anyone else had an Xbox CPU/RAM upgrade performed by N64 Freak?

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with N64 Freak's Xbox CPU and RAM upgrade? If so, how does it compare to Trusty's? I tried getting a hold of Trusty but he is yet to respond to my request for pricing.

    Thanks! :)

I have one, works fine & only cost £70 all in. (Motherboard)

you need to patch games to run on the 1GHz CPU, not all will patch correctly. (Nothing to do with the CPU)

There is only slight performance gains on emulators, since there not coded to utilise the CPU. XBMC will utilise it better.

I have a couple of N64s upgraded boards and the standard of workmanship is really neat and tidy. He is also such a pleasant guy to deal with.

Understand what you want first though. The cpu upgrade is very cool, but if you are just wanting to run extra stuff like Chihiro games then you are probably better off asking him for just the 128mb memory upgrade.

As Rocky says - with the processor upgrade, you have to patch all the retail games to run at the correct speed.

I have a few of them also and they work awesome! I had a extra board from him and I took care of him already. he wanted to pay a few installments and we are in the same country already. So it worked out for both of us. Plus he got lucky the board I had was a version 1.1. Those are the best versions for sure!

I will be getting a couple more from him also in a week. I am gonna be selling them in the USA for him to save on shipping time for people and also help with the USA installs since he does not get 110 volt PSUs.
