Heading to Japan Next week, advice on all things

Well i made it there and back and have to say it was an amazing week, i wish we had more time.. managed to do the main things we wanted, see some temples and shrines, get to den den town and aki ( though i know we missed lots of it ), and of course as usual regret not buying the items i saw that i wanted .. ahh well next time maybe..

The japan rail pass was by far the best purchase for getting around tokyo and to kyoto and osaka.. however the day trip 500yen ticket in kyoto for the buses was also a great deal.. accomodation was expensive, but i think we did pretty well at 6000 yen a night at most places.

Amazing place.. Bookoff is an awesome store if you can find them picked up a few cds from those guys at good prices..

Now if only i had that 80000 yen for the darius alpha i saw ...
