I realise you weren't trying to cause an argument, but sometimes your textual tone can be misconstrued. I myself can't really comment on that though because I have the same problem. I plan on spending as much time as I can making money so that I can afford things when I get shoved back into Australia's shit-show of an economy. Seriously, it's $12 for a damn KFC meal.
Dude, I'm VERY interested in that Virtual Boy cart. I can't quite make out the writing on the stickers, except for "final rom"
It is hard to read and I haven't tested it yet. I'm guessing its either a previously undiscovered unreleased 3D Zelda game OR Virtual League Baseball
Ha, quite the range there =P. Well let us know when you get to it, I'm super curious. There's many a VB projects that were being worked on that were never released. Would be cool as hell to find one!
Now I just need to find some working systems to test these carts before the show this weekend. We have 5 Game Gear systems here and not a single one works ! Anyone in Cleveland Ohio with a working Game Gear.
On the bottom row, what do the ones that don't say "CJ" say? (and does the leftmost one have an identifier?)
The one on the far right says CJ elephant. The one on the left I assume once had that loose Dizzy label (sitting above it in the picture) attached to it. The one with the glare I'll have to take a second look at but I think its another released title from the same series as the rest of them. p.s. Don;t let me forget that ,I still have to mail you some papers to look at.
Codemasters review samples and protos have always been quite polished, presumably because they were doing their own production line/mold it was more natural for them to bother with blue carts, printed labels or making mockup up boxes. I've got two CM protos that came boxed: http://www.smspower.org/forums/13986-GlobalGolfForGameGear http://www.smspower.org/forums/11349-TheExcellentDizzyCollectionGGPrototype Dinobasher on the SMS which is unreleased also came with a box-art.
