On start screen as you see on screenshots temperature is too high. About 207 F. What it is, why it is? Xbox works fine. All games are working, no laggs, no freezing. How to fix it?

On first screenshot is normal temp. was several hours ago. On second you can see high temp. now. I turned off xbox, wait, nothing. after 10-15 seconds it shows temp 200 F

    Is the fan working?

    Is the console clean inside?

    Are the heatsinks holding heat?

Have you attempt to change the thermal paste?

Is the XBOX in a well ventilated area (not in a TV unit with a door)

It's anyone's guess without any information.

Those are some disturbing temps. I had my trusty CPU upgraded board hitting around 55c a while back before changing its heatsink and that concerned me but that's an even lower temp than your seeing (55c is about 131F) I would open that thing up and clean it out and upgrade the thermal paste and make sure that fan is working. 200F is really alarming to me.

Try a different dashboard like UnleashX or XBMC & check the temps.

as the Xbox will turn off if it reaches round about 70c (158F)

    MSDASH doesn't show the temperatures.

Just load another dash as an app to check the temp.

Also, edit your posts and use the muti-quote button instead of triple posting.

If you're not sure how to install a dash, I suggest you keep it how it is.

Are you using a modchip at least?

Yeah, I wouldn't go fiddling with dashes if you're not sure if it's softmodded or if there's a modchip. If it's softmodded you could fuck it up.
If there's a modchip, you're free to go fiddling.

Softmod with ShadowC. I suggest you don't touch it then.

First thing I would do is remove heatsink, replace thermal paste (seeing as it's probably +10 years old), reinstall heatsink. Remember to use only a minute amount - less is more with paste.
