I'm not too sure if this transaction would be allowed on here, might be best to ask a moderator but what you're asking for is to buy pirated games from someone else.

Bootlegs are fine like this typically so long as we know it. A bit different than someone actually bootlegging things for profit now, if that makes sense

Yeah i'm well aware of the situation at hand and such, by pirated cd games i mean stuff that had those crazy labels made to the disc & cases from the eastern people themselves, to be precise what i'm mainly looking for are if any exclusively made unlicensed games of certain PC game ports or made from the ground up similar to how the Sega Mega Drive (Sega Genesis) or Super Nintendo scene does it.

I've never heard of any such PSX pirates existing. After the 16 bit era no one bothered making any unique unlicensed games for the 32bit era systems. Most of the companies who made all of the unlicensed games for Genesis and SNES are documented to a certain extent now, and from what can be seen, all of them either continued making games for the systems of the 16 bit era or they just disappeared, save for some unlicensed GBA games (Digimon Ruby, Zook Hero, Lord of the Rings, etc).

Well, actually there are at least a couple Taiwan only PS1 games I've seen, but they're boring Mahjong games. No original platformers or "Lion King 6 Super 2004" or anything like that.

I remember some of Russian PS1 bootlegs that days, especially which was broken due to bad translation/resources repacking.

Doom (don't remember, which one, but probably 1/2) - fonts was missing/invisible in "enter password" menu.
Gran Turismo - always hangs, when you try to buy soft tires.
Sled Storm - always hangs on "super challenge" loading screen.
Vigilante 8 2nd offense: special weapons not working.

Believe it or not there's actually a couple of unlicensed games that aren't just mahjong only, well let's just say it's selection makes up mainly are mostly erotic (pornographic) material more so than your average Sega Saturn's X 18+ games

    1. condition of the most of russian PS1 bootlegs are awful nowadays, because they was manufactured from the worst and cheapest materials (in the opposite to licensed PS1 discs with black label). They can't retain fully readable status for a long period of time even without a single scratch. But surprisingly some of the scratched disks still work, unexpectedly and inexplicably.
    2. cost of shipping to USA (for example) would be enormously huge, a lot more than cost of item itself, which makes this idea senseless, in my opinion (maybe even more expensive than shipping from Japan). Also there is not much guaranties that disk will be shipped in the proper condition and it will not be crushed or destroyed in the process of shipping because of local shipping peculiarity.

p.s. and yes, this is illegal because of ebay terms of use.

You might be thinking of Final Doom for PS1. "Doom" on PS1 is a special combination of Doom and Doom II maps. In Russia was released a cheap hack of Final Doom called Doom Forever, which was broken in some ways.

Most of the local market HK pirates were pretty boring - they tended to just have the game name on them. It was only the ones that were being exported that got the printed discs (maybe to try and make it less obvious that they were pirates...)

I used to have a whole load of them, but this seems to be all I can find right now.

Actually shipping is quite affordable. Silent P is thinking of the shipping costs from US to Russia. That's quite expensive.

There are a couple of pc/dos to psx bootleg ports.
A cartoon graphics quest game with a fox as the main character springs to mind.
Silent P may know what I'm talking about.
I could post some scans and screenshots later.

Mostly they are erotic/porn quests or something similar. Some of them original, some based on licensed games (DOS licensed games). Often they are unplayable eventually and totally shitty coded, literally they are trash, in my opinion. I don't see any reasons in collecting physical copies of this stuff.

for example: "Two clicks" collection of puzzle mini-games

I don't think so - they all seem to be 1:1 copies of retail games. There is one disc (Puzzle Bobble) that claims it just contains sound files, but I suspect that was just camouflage - it's actually a full copy of the game.
