A bit early, depending on if/what you celebrate, but as the holiday season is in full swing, presents start making themselves available Feel free to post here has you begin to get gifts, whether it is now or two weeks from now, big gifts or small gifts. I received an early gift from my girlfriend today, a new Star Wars AT-AT toy!
I want your girlfriend. I've not received a gift for my birthday or Xmas for the last two years so hopefully someone will be nice to me this year. (cue worlds smallest violin)
A few weeks ago I made myself an early Xmas present, I got rid of my cell phone and got a Nokia N95. I know there're newer models, but I always loved this phone (mostly because of the nice bunch of emulators you can put on it) and during the last years I developed a hate for touchscreen phones (specially after the huge iPhone clones invasion) and this was one of the best phones that you can get without a touchscreen.
I got this for my sister: http://www.amazon.com/Ask-Ninja-Presents-Handbook-Forward/dp/030740580X and this for my brother: http://www.amazon.com/Fallout-Colle...1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1292211246&sr=1-11
Hmm. Well i spent all my money on my car. First just paid for new tire (Flat tire leaving work), then engine has a filter switch broken? (it starts over heating when in sitting, but not driving) which is getting fixed tomorrow. Then after that, hopefully run into any more issues. Guess thats what i get for buying a 1997 BMW, not but issues. Its even better when its fingers turn to ice weather and you can't put on the heater. haha. I dislike being 18 with no real skills. Luckily my parents are paying for my College classes yet another semester.
I got myself 2 wiimotes(the lego ones) and a new piercing and I dont know what my GF is going to buy for me.
Wife gave me Gran Turismo 5 already, knew I couldn't wait till Christmas! I already gave her a new iPod Touch. She loves the video camera, uses it all the time to take videos of us and kids and then sends them to friends and family. -Disjaukifa
HUmmm. Let's see. I got a bunch of clothes from my mom and my grandma. My mother also bought me a "magical" serum for my eyelashes that will make them thicker, longer and fuller (OMG!! it's magical ), and she'll probably buy me a hair curler. I don't know what I will buy for Tchoin this year, but it will probably be something along the lines of clothing and something else that's cooler (don't kno what yet). I also have a few things at a firend's place in the states, namely my copy of Metroid Other M (bought here), a set of The Legend of Zelda Posters (from my Club Nintendo account) and last year's goldmember status gift from Club Nintendo. I don't know when I am having that shipped here either. OH! and I almost forgot I bought myself a $5 Totoro Watch and a Totoro thingy to put on my cellpohone. I LOVE TOTORO
Totoro is Fucking Awesome. That rocks. I fucking hate Christmas and every year something fucking horrendous makes it worse. For example, my cat left the house yesterday thanks to my mother leaving a door open, and he hasn't returned. So my first gift is losing a good friend and family member (after all the deaths in the family this year.) Oh, but today I'm buying my girlfriend a Pac-Man plug and play arcade thingie, which is awesome. She is a Pac-Man fan and that's the perfect gift to her, so that's good.
OMG! I hope your cat returns. My mom is taking my cat away with her on her little vacations. Not only will I miss her a lot, but I'll be worried because she's such an indoors cat that anything outside her comfort zone frightens her. In any case, if your cat has been neutered, he'll probably return. Odds are that he's not even that far away from your home. I fucking hate the holidays too. The whole happy family thing is tiresome and feeds me up. Fuck christmas, fuck it in the ASS
Fuck it in the ASS indeed. Good to see someone thinks the same, and yeah, he's neutered. Here's hoping he comes back. I really love that cat.
Hey those who hates Christmas, can celebrate Yule instead, and eat some Danish roasted pork, and eat some Black Pudding/Blood Sausage, and then down it all down with some beer. Also Yule is not on "Christmas" day, but the day before which is the 24 of December, and oh well Yule is a lovely pagan light returning celebration.
Well, yeah, Festivus IS for the rest of us. I'm the only male in the house, and we could say the "head" is either my 70 year old widow mother, or my 44 year old sister, so the Feats of Strength might be a little bit awkward.
Got a parcel i'm still waiting to arrive which is a CD and T-shirt bundle which i pre-ordered on 11/11 with the release being 7/12. Will be also going out tommorow (due to the the snow clearing and before it comes back to hamper travel) so might get a game or two plus i could do with a new PC mouse so will have a look for one. I will also just look out for anything interesting and cheap that i might want so i can at have some early xmas present's for myself.
So my cat came back, dirty as fuck, but still, he came back. Also I went and bought that Pac-Man thing for my gal. I'll give it to her tomorrow (she doesn't live in my city, but in a town a few hours away - she's staying here until friday, then who knows when she'll come back) As for myself, other than my cat coming back, I got the great gift of "Free time + backlog". Finally, I can attempt to finish Vesperia or Lost Odyssey or like half my 360 library. And both Super Mario Galaxy games on the Wii, which I started and never continued.
