That is good to hear. My cat Sybil had a giant puss-and-blood-filled boil on her head in the last month of her life, but one day she ran off and we never saw her again. It is my belief that whatever her injury was, effected her brain functioning and caused her to go mad. She pissed on the laundry (well, okay, she ALWAYS did that, only more so in that last month of her existence), and whined 40% more than she normally did. Once your sense of direction is gone, only insanity has a grip on you...I've tried to think of something more terrifying, but I've failed. I'm glad at least one person had a happy ending with their cat.
I got my mother a Digital radio, being we switch to digital in March in my part of the UK and she won't know what hit her. I can imagine it now... 'WHY ISNT THE TV WORKING?! EVERYTHING IS FUZZY, HAVE YOU KNOCKED SOMETHING? YOU ALWAYS BREAK THINGS, STOP PLAYING AROUND WITH THE INSIDES' Oh what fun it will be.
