It's just crude Humor, Liberal slant on everything, Stewie acting gay, Brian and Stewie up to something, Peter doing something retarded.

I just can't think of the last time the show made me laugh. I also doubt the 14 year olds that watch the show got the Tootsie Reference a few weeks back (a near total rip off of the movie at that)

So...exactly why do people watch Family guy again?

 

Well, it's just like the Simpsons. It gets old.

Simpsons was great till the 10th season. Then till season 16th, only some episodes were good. Now it's just terrible. Sometimes one good joke, but that's it.

They only keep doing it because it still makes money.

 

it was good before it was canceled the first time then when it came back it was a slow decent into unfunnydom.

Still angry about that Brazil Episode? I do think the Simpsons needs to end soon before they tarnish their legacy by staying on too long.

But Family Guy needs to go first. What exactly is Seth McFarline's problem with Disney (among other things)

 

They are about 3 Seasons late for that.

 

Seth McFarlane just isn't funny anymore, clear example: Seth McFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy. That thing sucks... it began being a tad funny but after 2 or 3 shorts it turned into 2/3 of the short being commercials (Priceline Negotiator) and 1/3 of "joke".

 

I think the only reason the Simpsons is still on is becuase they need to surpass Gunsmoke in total episode numbers. When they do hopefully it'll end.

I don't know why Family Guy is on. I was in Target last week (only place in that mall that didn't look like an Emo colony) and some 8 year old girl was asking her mom if she made up her mind about family guy.

I weeped for humanity.

 

I think Family Guy is terrible, to be honest. All the "jokes" are just "Hey, remember this thing from the 80s? Wasn't it HILARIOUS?" or "Something adult/otherwise inappropriate happens to children's characters, like what if Rocksteady and Bebop were addicted to CRACK LOL?". South Park is complete shit too, the last episode I remember watching was the one with the talking towel, that's when I gave up on the show when an entire episode went by without anything even slightly funny happening.

South Park is Fucking hilarous.

It's hit and miss lately but South Park is the only show that still makes me laugh.

I like family guy even though i don't find it that funny anymore. I don't watch the simpsons anymore even though i used to watch it all the time as i mainly try and watch Futurama when i get the chance.

The only show which i still watch and try to watch all the time is South Park, sure not all episodes are that great but they are all still really really funny.

 

I can't watch an entire episode of Family Guy. Some of the short clips on YouTube will make me laugh sometimes but I just feel like an idiot watching an entire episode.

I just watched the 9th Season of The Simpsons and it's on a completely different level. Every episode has a complete well thought out story. It's funny and you actually care about how the episode is gonna turn out.

Will Bart be friends with Milhouse again? Will Otto get his job back as the bus driver? Will Homer stay faithful to his wife even after being seduced by a gorgeous country singer?

 

Family Guy, eh, I do find somewhat amusing. I don't get a rock hard on over it like many people do, but its can provoke a smile. It really is unsophisticated though and I don't seek to watch it.

The Simpsons began as pure class. Clichéd to say this, but it worked on lots of levels, and was a good pisstake of every day life, mannerisms, etc. Now its just Bart being naughty, and Homer being completely thick as shit - cheap slapstick humour, and so many jokes just fall completely flat. I find it really embarrassing.

Simpsons I still find amusing. South Park I find amusing.

American Dad makes me laugh sometimes, it's not just bullshit random jokes. It's fairly more intellectual.

 

I think part of the problem is that you become desensitized by the humour after a while, and that was the initial thing that made the shows stand out.

 

I like family guy i think its funny :lol:. but i do still watch friends every day without fail :dance::love2:. But thats just me. :shrug:

The legacy of the Simpsons is already being destroyed, because of the previous seasons. Fox will continue to cash in as much as they can, unfortunately.

 

I hate family guy so much.

It's just loud and obnoxious. They try to make it edgy, cool, and make any offensive joke they can think of. (a lot of are in really horrible taste.) It's just so annoying.

Some of the idiot kids that watch it are starting to think it's cool the be a racist.

Maybe it wouldn't bug me as much if they didn't air is on three different channels.

 

I don't understand most of the pop culture references. Too random of a show for me. Seth Mcfarwhatever is making a ton of money on that crap. And wtf is the Cleveland Show..lol
