I have remedied the situation of not owning a Tennokoe memory card. I just can't help myself. Also stuck a few of my boxed items in the photo. I used to have more boxed VMUs.

You should try the Smart Memory Card. It's an adaptor to use chipcards instead of regular memory cards for the PSone.

Yeah, but does flash memory have a little standardized space for pretty game art? Also, I object to the adoption of Secure Digital as a defacto storage standard because of all the DRM features built into it. Either way, most of my PS1 memory came at fifty cents a pop, so I'm not too worried about storage. I'm maybe using four or five of those cards tops. My VMUs, on the other hand, are almost all full of Shenmue saves and Phantasy Star characters and gods know what else.

Damn the dreamcast memory cards were fun. The chau's from Sonic Adventure were so frigin fun to play with. You could then import em back into the game.

That was an awesome video game.

Nice collection you guys got there! especially the jag mem!

BTW I myself got an official PS1 black memory card once to fit my yaroze off ebay.. but somehow I never came across one again.. and as I don't see them in these collection pics how rare are they actually and what might be the story behind them?

I covet your VMU collection there, Bert. Are those all official colors rather than custom paint jobs? I see two Hello Kitty units and the bright red Giant Gram VMU too, if my eyes don't deceive me.

    They are all official VMUs.

You have good vision, you're 100% correct.

Subtle ones are the white one on the top row in the middle - it's actually PEARL white (not normal white).

The second row down to the right has a pearl blue - only ever seen one and I bought it. Never seen the pearl pink ever, except on the Sega site itself.

The transparent coloured VMUs on the bottom have the US ones on the left and Japanese ones on the right (they've virtually identical).

The one VMU that *should* exist but doesn't is a Divers VMU - never understood why there isn't one...

Hi Bert Hardy, what´s model is the blue transparent at the left side of Kitty´s? I collect Dreamcast, but never saw that model.

Here a photo of pearl pink (mine).

Holy smoke!....wow....thanks for sharing....I need to get one somehow!

It's a Di Gi Charat VMU - it came with the game of the same name, it's not uncommon, so you can get it without too much problem.

The second picture here (click on pic 2) will show the front better....

hey guys! Love some of the memory cards on show here, great stuff! Just thought I'd show the two unusual ones I've managed to acquire...

The time crisis one I can't find any info about, and I don't know what the button is for (it does make the LED go off though when placed into a playstation). Anyone able to help me with info? Would be greatly appreciated!
