Those VMU's all lined up next to eachother.... its beautiful. :love2: I didnt even know that many existed. I thought it was just a couple colors and transparent ones... Wow.
Is it not a switch to turn paging off or change to a different page? Many early large capacity memory cards had multiple 'pages' of 15 blocks. They were usually unreliable and corrupted many saves of mine.
Probably standard memory cards. I can't see Sony actually putting much effort in to changing the design. Yakumo
The button is a switch to change between pages, The multi page game specific memory cards are read only memory cards which contain saves for every level of the game or specific major parts. I have a Duke Nukem Time to Kill read only memory card just like that and it has a save at every level, but you cant write new saves or edit old ones.
No... but still it's a unique memory card Nothing too special, most VMU's had much nicer designs. The MC's box alone is nice to own though ^_^
I used to love the VMUs And the pocketstation!! I removed them from my memory... I still remember the first time it was released in Japan, I read about their potential on the PSM. But no one knew that was just for the internal market Now I want one so bad
I remember seeing the Pocketstation in an Australian playstation magazine, one was given away as a competition - at the time I believe the only game over here that could use it was Final Fantasy 8, and I wanted one just for that reason - being an addict. Only just discovered them again, Wouldn't mind a few
Just got myself a brand new Segagaga VMU i know it is shown on page 2 but the box is even more cool! Trying desperately to find a Dreamcast Direct Pure Black one are they that hard to find?
This that the VMU from Ebay? : ( I was going to buy it but I had no cash to take it, nice VMU though *_ *
Yes i got it from Ebay! Seller was quite nice and also from Hong-Kong (was his only piece I'm afraid he is selling his personal gaming collection)!
