IDE adapter for 3DO FZ-10

I installed today usb adapter on goldstar gdo-101 - works well ,also as fz-10 .

If you do not succeed buy, I can try to take a few pieces and send my USA friend turfster .I unfortunately did not get quantity of posts for sale on forum...

Does anyone know if this could be made to work with a Panasonic FZ-1?

 

I would recommend you to read through topic.
Initially it was made for Panasonic 3DO (FZ-10).

I assume since there is a version for fz-1 under development though, that this particular one won't work? Just wondering if anyone has intel.

 

ATM FZ-1 version is in development. I think schematics is the same, the problem is to integrate it nicely to front loading console.

 

Just installed the usb adapter on my fz10. Im getting an error that the usb controller is locked and to contact MNEMO. Has anyone else had this happen? Im not sure if I have it installed incorrectly or this is normal. Maybe a file needs to be loaded or something to unlock it? I sent MNEMO an email, but just thought id ask while waiting to hear from him.

 

I didn't installed mine yet.
At least on IDE adapter I had to format hard drive under windows.

 

It can read my flash drive ok. I put an ISO on there and it sees it. Just says at the top of the screen it's locked. Then when you try to launch the ISO it says contact mnemo for unlocking.

 

Interesting, maybe he added some sort of copy protection there.

 

That may be what it is as I think I have it connected right. I'll post again when I hear back from him.

 

Oy, that isn't promising.

I'm terrible at this stuff, so I have someone working on it, and a RGB mod. I'll post once I hear back from him, hopefully I don't run into the same issue. Thanks again for setting this up, superg.
