I've been a member of that message board for over a decade, and I do not recall any such incident. However, it may have been all behind the curtain so to speak...

we can never be 100% sure that the 80% (whatever you want to call it) even exist in hands outside of Capcom. So little evidence to support it's existence. I like to think it's out there somewhere, but can absolutely see why a lot of people have doubts. It's a hole different ball game to the 40% build. We knew for years that one was floating around with various collectors and lucky randoms. Many pictures and videos released over the years backed this up. The same can't be said for the later build.
There's also the chance of builds we don't even know about. This is even more doubtful, but still highly possible.

Time will tell. Or it will tell us absolutely fuck all lol

 

There is this 60-80% build, yes, but chances are quite slim we'll ever see it released publicly, but you never know...

I am very happy with the 40% vanilla build. I am so happy that I'm able to play that Resident Evil game which I always wanted to play ever since the E3 1997...it's almost surreal...

I saw the heated discussion earlier over the amount of zombies, and I don't want to annoy anybody. But, there's an finite amount of zombies.

At the lobby, there are quite a few...

At the "Lobby Rouka" (Corridor I presume?) you'll be busy much longer...and it leaves you with a bug if you'll return later on...

 

Since you guys are way more into RE 1.5 than I am, could you possibly post pictures of anything that isn't present on 40% build?

Anything that might point out that a more advanced build exist?

It's really advanced on the video but I wouldn't say it's 80% ready, maybe 60%. There's not many things that we don't see on the vanilla build.

Maybe the vanilla build is 60% done, who knows.
