Info about Resident Evil 1.5

No one from from bioflames, THIA, or any other RE community we know of has any build more complete than the 40%. Most didn't even have that build till more recently. Over the years, veterans over at bioflames got information and the odd scan here and there, but that's pretty much as far as it goes.

 

Damnit that's very sad. But may it be that somewhere someone owns a 80 % Built outside of capcom? Or is it impossible that someone outside of capcom owns a copy of the 80% Built??

 

Anything is possible, but even if it exists outside of Capcom it doesn't mean that we know who it is, that they would share, or any other of the limitless possibilities that come with such a thing.

 

Has anyone been able to contact Kim "Inflames" Larsen of the Bioflames website about a 40% disc finally surfacing, not to mention his comments on the I.G.A.S. restoration project as well? From what I can tell he left the 1.5 scene a few years back, yet I've also heard that a few of the other former major names (including Dot50Cal) do keep up to date with events. While it's unlikely the person who supplied him with screenshots of the Complete Disc version would reconsider their earlier decision, it would be great to see if there's any chance of this last known copy being made available - even some new direct feed media is welcome! On the other hand, if there really are so few examples of this final build out there, maybe his contact is the same person BZork had access to for certain assets? For the sake of maintaining their secret identity, I'd understand if they want to remain anonymous, although it's obvious that Capcom either doesn't care or isn't in a financial position to do anything regarding such leaks at the present.

 

Just for clarification are you guys calling the 80% build the "complete disc"? If so why is it called complete when its supposedly 80%?

 

The "complete disc" was a bonus disc from some biohazard title way back some year. On that disc are some 1.5 Videos and some savegames from biohazard and some infos I guess. So it has nothing to do with the 80% Built

Indeed. It was included with ''Biohazard Director's Cut - Dual Shock'' for Japan only. It was also intended to be a bonus disc for other regions too but was scrapped for some unknown reason.

Im sorry if i sound like an idiot here but if this just leaked build is a 40% build then what was this back in february http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXgJuUKbJhM. also what ever happened to that 80% build restoration project.

 

it's the so called mzd build, a work in progress build of the restoration project which is set to be released in the future.

 

yepp it's the "Magic Zombie Door" WIP Built by TEAM I.G.A.S.. They released it on February 2013 because someone (from the TEAM) had put it on Ebay and IGAS wouldn't that someone makes money with this restoration.

That Facebook page's pretty neat. Slightly less cluttered with borderline insane fanboys raving about things (unlike my forums )

I find it kinda tragic how much behind the scenes drama those guys have had to put up with so far when it comes to obvious signs of backstabbing and people who've clearly tried to make a profit for personal gain on both duplications of the source build they acquired and on the assets they've produced along the way.

Hello everyone. I from russian fan group. Is there any chance that Team IGAS create his project from 80% build? Or someone knows what exactly build they use? I cant believe that they use something like this 40% Vanila build in base of his very perspective project. 40 % build its just so small part of this prototype, I dont think that they recreating by his own hands 60% of game...
