"This footage is basically all that I have left and was lucky to have recovered it from a virus ridden HDD over the weekend. Sadly some of the scarier parts I remembered from the demo weren't in this video and are probably gone forever."

    Not sure if trolling.

Jeez, the 1.5 fan base is the most teased and tortured fan base I've ever known and probably ever will be.

Quite a few new things in that video.... This guy needs to make a full video walk through.... Clearly there are tons of scenes we have yet to see.

forgiven? well i am happy to see any new footage. and i give my respect to Curator for caring enough to show us what he found from recovered hard disk drive. Just enjoy new footage and give a guy a break. If he did something wrong - dont blame him, we all had our own hunger born from jealous feelings and demanding 1.5 like babies (not all of as though). Hes reactions where quite normal. Actually there is nothing to forgive. He forgived fanbase angerness. So I welcome him and You all should thank him for a new footage for us to look and analyze. And one thing i have noticed. How is it that rudeness has gotten even on to this board? (not pointing any fingers - just my gut feeling)

I realise that I may be very much off the mark here, and I'm prepared to openly apologise if this turns out to be wrong, yet...

Does anybody else honestly believe that Curator uploaded a few remaining scraps from a hard drive? We've already covered that for at least one period of time he definitely possessed a late working build of the Biohazard 2 prototype (though not the last known version - that honour supposedly belongs to a former contact of Inflames), but I think it's highly unlikely he just kept a few extra seconds of footage lying around for a rainy day.

My theory is that he still has access to the disc he bought a while back, whether in person or through an associate who is prepared to continue letting him periodically record footage from it with the intention of maintaining the illusion it is still within his grasp. Considering how much he sold off recently, I suspect "1.5" would have been one of his most expensive prized pieces.

On the other hand, it's possible this latest chapter in the Curator's saga is completely genuine. However, based on his past track record it wouldn't be too surprising if anyone here did suspect him of further foul play. I'd honestly love to be proved wrong, ultimately culminating in his specific revision becoming available somehow through a deal arranged by representatives from several online communities. Assembler, Hidden Palace and Bioflames would probably be the first groups I'd think of getting involved.

Unfortunately, I fear he's thrown us the last bone for a while and will instead resort to his previous actions of playing down his at least co-ownership of this game, desperately trying to convince us that while it's listed as being preserved on his site, it is not something he owns personally. Meanwhile, I really do feel that it's not going to be long now until another source offers to share this holy grail for PlayStation enthusiasts and Survival Horror fans alike.

With the sad truth that Bioflames has now lost its contact, all eyes must surely now be on the copies rumoured to be floating around in very tight collectors' circles over in continental Europe. Under the cover of much greater anonymity than either Curator or Inflames, they may one day surface just long enough to present this highly sought after title for us all. Of course, due to the high level of secrecy around this particular group we've no way of telling how advanced their discs are. Still, even an early alpha would be better than nothing, even though we know far more complete builds are out there!

If he indeed bought this game, my guess is that he still own a copy.

Who in his right mind would sell a game like this without burning a copy to keep for himself?

Edit: The quality of these new footages are too good to be from back in the days IMHO.

Sums up my thoughts perfectly. At the end of the day even if Curator did have a copy, he clearly just wants to be left alone to go about his business, and as a human being we should respect that. It's unfortunate that there's a community that's been on the recieving end of his postings online, and it's unfortunate that there's a collector who recieved a backlash because the community wanted what he had. I think there was two parties who were equally as guilty in what happend back then, and even though it was probably better for Curator to keep quiet, you can't blame him for responding in some of the ways he did. I don't know the guy personally so I can't say much about him as a person, but clearly he's made efforts to move on from what happened and continue to share information about the prototype. I think the community need to move on as well.

I can agree with this. Unfortunately, these words could also be misinterpreted by someone as sucking up to Curator in the hope he'll change his mind and release whatever he's got... assuming he either still owns a backup copy or the originally purchased disc! However, who honestly believes this is footage captured from before that's only just surfacing now?

Indeed, however your words can be misinterperated as someone hating on a person with no real evidence to back their accusations besides speculation and things they've read on the internet. Comments like "I think he's this" and "I think he's that" are completely meaningless and are doing nothing but stiring a five year old pot that's already been settled by now. The guy has just released seemingly new content, whether he has the disc or a burn or not at all doesn't really mater, because even if he has he still doesn't owe you anything, and he's made it pretty clear he doesn't want any more questions on the matter. Just accept it, those are his wishes, why does their have to be some conspiracy which needs to be exposed? Whether he's telling the truth or not, leave the drama in the past, for all you know he might just be protecting him self from Capcom as I'm sure they'll have some thoughts on him releasing the footage.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone with genuine hatred for Curator and his past actions have already notified Capcom that he's released the highest quality footage so far of the Biohazard 2 prototype and may still possibly own a copy, though under no circumstances am I even remotely two-faced enough to do this myself... just saying, is all.

Let´s hope that this doesn´t happen, i put a bit faith that curator is planning something when his site reopens, remember when the first resident evil have made 15 years and then 2 alphas and a near final beta were leaked? and then kendo decided to share his re4 demos and a then outbreak english beta?

If i was this hatred person, i would keep calm until the next days to see what happens.

Curator is never going to release the game.... only keep posting videos like the one's he has posted.... with new stuff each time just to keep us begging for him to release it.

I know this game was only completed to 80% AFAIK but you guys think it would be possible that the ending would be in those 80%?

Acording to imacwesket, all fmv were complete, and also, all rooms were complete too except a few ones.

And possibly the minigames and some animations like the gorilla ones were incomplete.
