Seems like we've got a merry Halloween this year, and it's not from CAPCOM's release list. Definitively the most impressing work out there, especially if you compare it with lousy RE2 modifications spammed everywhere on youtube.

While I think it's awesome that so much time and effort is being spent preparing this for release, I'm hoping we'll be able to get our hands on the unaltered Japanese version too, just for completion's sake.

Also Ada is, well, Ada. Wasn't she always called Linda in 1.5? So did the team working on this decide to change the name, or did the name change along the development line anyway?

The whole Linda affair was more like a rumor or incredibly early concept stuff from CAPCOM. My guess is that the name Linda, if it ever really existed, was scrapped and changed soon after with her finalized name. It wouldn't make sense for the team to restore the entire game and change people's identities for no good reason. 99% sure, she had been Ada for a looong while.
