Info about Resident Evil 1.5

They edited in the inventory screen from later on in gameplay video footage with the pistol already equiped is all, no big secret to this, because elza has RGB medicine, RG Medicine, and the remington, and she picks it up at the beginning of a new game sequence, and she was using the knife

 

Indeed, well spotted, the pistol is equipped when the inventory pops up.

 

I'm betting they added in the inventory footage from much later in gameplay to show the sexy medicine and Remington shotgun, not to mention the ID card.

 

Could be that the game just uses some funky item sorting system too. Manual sorting/organizing or just odd automatic stuff. Equipped items might go into a slot of their own too.

 

Then again, doesn't this game have a secondary weapon system? Or do you just select the knife on a sub slot as you would the lighter in the retail game? The knife has a green arrow next to it on the inventory and Elza still has the knife equipped when they close the menu.

 

Like I said, they recorded the inventory footage at a different time and just used it in the video. I'm damn sure.

 

there is also no music in the inventory screen so they were either in a room with no music or music doe's not play in the inventory screen.

 

it'll be release only in ISO format or in Box too ?

I highly doubt that the group is going to resale it as a retail unit.
It would be cool though if our photoshop / coreldraw magicians could design a retail-ish box/inserts.

 

I don't think they would release it as an item for sale but wouldn't be surprised if they released some box art and inlays etc. I've been thinking about it and if they don't im going to make my own and put it online. Going to buy some lights tube discs and make a template to go on the disc too. I'll see how things go and what comes out but ill certainly be making my own and releasing if the "team" don't.

 

So I haven't been on here for a while and just had 10 unread pages that I went through... Unfortunately the first 5 were just bickering and arguing. There's a lot of good info over the 65 pages of this thread though but it's all spaced out, I think it should be collated into a new thread.

One of the worst ways I've ever seen an unreleased game see the light of day.

if and when it is released I highly doubt they will sell it or other items to do with it. If anything they might put images files in with the ISO etc.

 

You can give a try either way. A variety of options isn't bad, also yours could be better than theirs.

The resin I havnt made one already is it would take a lot of time, especially if the game didn't get a release too. Id still make mine with a custom lightscribe disk too, maybe even a manual too. Extra week of work may be needed!

 

I'm looking forward to seeing yours! I didn't care much for the ones on THIA.
