Agreed with Darkside05, a full release by xmas is very unlikely, especially if they are planning to fill ALL the holes.

We don't know how much work has already been done before all the teasers.

That's true. But that message about Jesus Day could still be a teaser for what will possibly be another teaser trailer. In any case, I hope they take enough time to put it neatly together before release.

I really hope they add in all the areas from the trial version. It won't be 100%, but will be close enough. This is going to be so awesome. Nearly a fully complete, NEW, BIOHAZARD game.

Although I wish they could make a demo of just a few rooms, heck they can do anything it seems. So removing a bunch of rooms, inserting a "Too Be Continued" screen, disabling the debug menu, and removing the additional backgrounds on the disc is possible.

Also I think they will give a release date window on the Christmas update, but not a 100% certain one.

I might be going out on a limb here, but I think it's safe to say the extracted Trial Edition backgrounds (and their corresponding layer masks - where available) will definitely be finding their way into the team's final product. However, there's little chance of a demo preceding the full release... it would give Capcom a perfect opportunity to serve what could only be described as potentially the most brutal cease and desist notice in videogaming history!

Most definately it would not. Capcom cannot serve a cease and desist to someone without knowing who to send it to. The team behind this is unknown and nobody affiliated with it is public. Thus there is no one for Capcom to go after except ghosts and cease and desists cannot be enforced on nonexistant people. Without knowing anyones identity, Capcom cannot do anything. It's like trying to go after Anonymous, it's an impossible task wasting money and resources on a goose chase. Truly and verily, verily I say, Capcom can go fuck themselves.

Speaking of a CaD, even BZork would be immune to that I would think. IMO he is just the informer to us, he's not on the team at all. I always thought that he didn't have a copy but was just there to upload videos on what the team had sent him. Who knows..

It would be cool if all the enemies were on the disc, but weren't implemented. I can see there be a possibility of that. Maybe even the V-Jump reskinned Chris model might be on the disc, possibly the civilian Leon is on there. Man it would be so cool if they implemented a costume change function where you switch between them.

The clothing damage thing would be interesting if it was there. They tried bringing that back for Code Veronica but it got cut from the final game, so i'm wondering if it was a technical thing and it'll get cut from this too.

The body armor is is on the disc. Curator said this himself before that big fiasco with him happened. He also said the body damage indicator was on the disc.

I know that, the leaked elza UBCS armor is my avatar.....
Doesn't mean that you can 'get' the armor.

I think that you only get bloody from meeting Zombies head on. But the possibility of other enemies doing is is a probability. The team has proven they are very capable, so why not make it happen for all enemies?

This has probably been answered elsewhere already, but I can't dredge through this whole thread =p How much of the game script is even available? If they're adding to the game I'm wondering if there's areas they're having to make up text for because there's nothing for it on the disc.

Then again, it wasn't a goal to get this thing to be a 100% complete game I guess? Unless they wanted to make up more story and all themselves.

Who knows what their goal is. Going by the custom renders, I'd say it's safe to say they are taking creative liberties with filling the blanks. As for the dialog, we don't know how much is in their build, but at least a lot of random snips of dialog appears in lots of footage from the game and a lot about the game matches up against the retail version in various ways and what public info there is on the game itself ... I'd say being able to recreate the overall structure of things wouldn't be impossible, but recreating things verbatim? Probably not, unless they have event data for it + the actual dialog script.

Last time I checked, you don't bleed so much your clothes turn red when being hit across the back with a baseball bat... ;D

Getting bitten scratched or grabbed/pawed on by bloody zombies, spiders, and Cerberus would though.

Why is it that the title screen on the Halloween Teaser says Copyright Capcom 1998? If its the 40% build (which is only presumed up to this point I guess), wouldn't that place it in early-mid 1997?

Could be as simple as they had a 1998 release date so they'd stick 1998 on there so it didn't need changing later.
