Info about Resident Evil 1.5

I'm slightly aware of the fuss over this game and how long the teasing of a release has been going on in the community but why? Like how much is this game worth in monetary value? a grand, a grand and a half at the most. This has been going on for over a decade and I can't fathom that it could only be about the money because it's chump change to be honest. I earn more than that in a month. I don't understand why they just don't put it out. It's just bizarre. If I had it I'd just put it out there and let everyone at it. I'd have more fun discussing it and having more talented people crack it open and discovering things instead of sitting on it until the end of time with no real benefit.

I know this post doesn't bring anything new to the table, I just find it odd that people would sit on something that isn't actually worth much money at all in the grand scheme of things (especially a decade+). It's better to share. It's more fun to involve everyone in something like this, especially when the people are so passionate about the subject.

Could be strings attached. Strings that in most cases are the very reason why you don't see people who loudly make claims about how they'd put it out there in a second have access to it.

True. But at least it is happening. I'm sure people will have more than enough time to circle jerk over things when the game's out in public. Unless the only turn on is each person's individual chance and desire to become the Marco Fuckin' Polo of Resident Evil 1.5 or something.

I checked out the "Greatest TR beta" thread, and that was quite a display for all parties involved. Looking at the posts there, I'm reminded of the "good will" we've extended to this mysterious Facebook team. Considering how volatile things become when there's severe doubt in the air, it is amazing to see how we've kept our overall composure. The teaser videos contributed quite a bit to that stability; We are, after all, taking the trailer's advice and waiting until the "Holiday Season" for "More Info." Though we have been "trolled" many times in the past, I believe it is best to maintain our collective patience.

Someone posted a few quick fixes patches on RHDN shortly after release, iirc. Besides that, THIA put up the background rips after the release a go (but we never got around to doing sprite rips; lazy us)

 

I know, but the fact is everyone couldn't wait to dig into it, and yet nothing really happened pass the basics. Was just poking fun at how people want to play the game, and in all likelihood only so much real research is going to get done Edit : /Just realized I wasn't quoted. Point stands hah

 

The lack of GBC hacking "in general" probably comes from the fact that no one in the RE community has made his/her own pre-made tools, written some guides on how to do things and all that other jazz so people can just kick back and start HACK.EXE and call it a day ;D

(Although all anyone would need to get started is readily available and spelled out on RHDN.)

 

I doubt it. GManwillis is banned for good and GreatestTR is ban for 5 days for break rules of sales. Buyer is not ban at all actually. Moderator made a mistake about IP address or otherwise they both be banned for good !

I checked and read the sale thread, no doubt it was the best troll so far or maybe not.

I heard Greatest TR was indeed part of The Team build behind of RES or something and plus he a Italian If that ring any bell, Someone said thesales was real then hell break lose by threat and make everything fake by on purpose to dodge the threats ?!?

Then you got GManwillis claiming he has all 3 builds, I don't believed he has it. It was bluffing to against Mr sippy to make him to release those build. We all know Gmanwillis is dangerous where he can hack people computers and control the system files and with people personal files too. (Mention on other thread) so who knows.

I think we all learned by now. Sit and wait.

 

Ah, the GBC betas... we had so much fun racing against eachother to see who would reach the heliport first. Lots of fun trying to glitch our way to the (unacessible) morgue to get the MO Disk, haha. Thanks for those who stay in the dark and release goodies at the right time.
