We can sit and wait all we want, but as long as other people start threads and pretend they're selling the game then we'll probably all gonna join on the fun regardless

I do wonder if collectors out there that really have the game are going to cash in on their "investment" once the mod is released. Only a matter of time before they're all out there, surely.

Well there website that we dont know of, like a secret underground website where they do private sales ? I bit new of Res beta stuff, So mod RES 1.5 is surely can't be accurate as real RES 1.5 Right ?

If that not accurate then that case Real RES 1.5 would be still held ?

One thing, Greatest TR has video of his rare Tomb raider betas, so they are already real... so there a 50/50 chance Resident evil betas was real too. It hard to say:livid:

If Gman were banned he'd show up as banned. Maybe it's because he's on my friends list, but I still see his picture. Plus banned users don't even have a profile anymore from what I've seen, they just show up as guest. I think he just turned off private messaging because of the flood of people asking about the game.

Still it is quite awesome to finally see Roy. Even if he isn't the official CAPCOM model, he still looks legit. These guys must have worked on PS1 games in the past. Maybe they are disgruntled CAPCOM employee's and wanted to see RE1.5 released?

 

Nah, they definitively aren't former CAPCOM developers, but their level of skill is A, as in "Asian".

 

I know they weren't former CAPCOM employee's but their skill is up there. If no one out there was able to modify a PSX RE game and these guys can that is proof enough they beyond everyone's skill level. I do wonder if they have a Yaroze PSX system to help develop on. It would probably make the modding process easier.

 

Actually several people have already hacked the RE PSX engines to some extend for implementing European translations. Of course this is a little different, but the same principle applies as you're supposed to take the RDT data and repack it somehow. When you're capable of doing that you can even start creating your own stuff with the engine, instead of "simply" replacing the text.

As for the Yaroze, it's pretty useless even for development, so imagine how much it could help with hacking...

 

I've already had one heart attack, and the end of this latest teaser nearly gave me another (not really - don't worry)! Also, based on this newest video's title, can we expect further "advent" teasers in the run up to the main Christmas announcement? I sure hope so...
