Yeah 360 games tend to look better than PS3 games.

It's like a flip in power the Dreamcast is "SUPPOSED" to be more powerful than the PS2 yet the picture quality isn't always there. in the other case it's the PS3 that "supposed" to be more powerful. Yet the picture quality isn't there.

Of course I can't really say if the Dreamcast is more powerful under the hood than PS2. Specs I read last night seemed to tell me otherwise.

You're not MottZilla though, he said simply interlacing sucks ass. How else am I to interpret that? To me that sounds like foolish progressive scan zealot talk.

Just because there are no scanlines? Personally I mind frame dropping over the absence of scanlines since 240p can usually be scaled to 480p losslessly.

That price is sort of sad; someone who wants that so badly must have both golden eyes yet be colorblind.

DC only has more VRAM to store textures; PS2 is pretty limited in that respect.

To each his own I suppose. I still think lossless is a bit misleading. Makes it sound like line doubling is okay since there's technically no loss of data. Still looks pretty fugly.

It's apparently a serious mod. I've seen them go even higher, actually. Apparently that seller has posted 3 over the last few months. I assume he does the mods himself as a side business. I personally don't like the Famicom much so it's a no brainer for me. I would probably buy an RGB modded Turbo Duo if it popped up again.

The thing about Famicom RGB is that the onboard obviously doesnt have RGB capability. Most of the time, the RGB chip (encoder, or whatever it is) is taken from the Playchoice-10 arcade cabinet. To find a broken PC-10 is rare, as is just a motherboard, and that can easily be 100-200$ for the motherboard (and sometimes a few games).

you still need to try the DC with a VGA adapter on a CRT or something.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice something. Take Rez for example
DC: VGA output but not 60fps
    PS2: 60fps, but only 480i output.

I guess w/ the PS2 you get that sex toy too though.

The PC-10 has the same palette as the NES/Famicom? I guess it was the VS series with a different palette. I love the NES/Famicom, but probably not enough to spend that much to get RGB outta it.

Never touched the PS2 version of DOA2 but I see it all the time at my Gamestop.

Might pick it up for collectors sake. Sounds like another game to use to compare PS2 and Dreamcast to each other.
