Some items gone, some new stuff found the way to my collection. Thats why i start this new thread. Let me begin with the documentation for the Playstation. And here the Software :
And of corse the hardware : First my Playstation DevPC. It holds anything for Sound/Graphic/Sourcecode Dev on one Mainboard! Anything is installed on Win98SE and in full working condition without conflicts DTL-H2500 development board (PCI) DTL-H2510 development CD-ROM DTL-H201A graphic artist board (ISA) DTL-H800 sound artist board V3 (PCI) DTL- AV cable for the H2500 DTL- controller port for the H2500 CDU-921S development burner (SCSI2) Next my H2000 setup : Next the H2700 with Trigger switch: The SN CD-Emulator for PS: And some extra parts for PS: The Dev burner for the PS: PS2 TOOL: PS3 TOOL with Ref controller: And my PS4 20th:
The early PS collection you have is unreal, you have the documentation, software and hardware. And it all works! I'm liking the ISA cards myself. Did Sony ship out complete computers, or was it a build it yourself using their supplied cards back in the day?
No, sony ship only the DTL parts based on PC. You have to build it up. With the PS2, you get it complete with "PC" . The ISA boards are plug&play, The h2500 is plug&prey . I had many conflicts with the AGP Slot, with ISA graphics card anything is OK. But i need any slot on the board.
renew My devPC : DTL-H2500 DTL-H210A DTL-H800 DTL-H2510 SN CD Emulator TSeng ISA GPU 1MB ^^ Adaptec PCI SCSI-II Still need some parts going in next week... But really nice case. It will have two SCSI ways, one for a DDS-2 streamer one for the SN emulator, OS operate on IDE like the cd-drive. A Floppy also exist. Max output on the board i think, Asus P2B rocks! I skip AGP because conflicts with PCI , h2500...
Finished! Also add the Dev-Burner and the controller interface. Anything is connected and work perfect. Thinking about making a video with some functions. Was a little tricky connecting the SN CD EMu board with the h2500 and a 50 pin scsi hdd.
hehe i dont think so. But im looking for a Sony Streamer . Great thing about the dev-burner, i can also use as CD-Reader. Today i installed another fan for the PCBs, getting hot without some airflow. thanks for your feedback, its nice to see other people like PS1 DEV workstations.
Work still not done. - installed ATX plate (thanks to unclejun for the plate!) - installed SONY Floppy (silver) - preparing the Drivebay mount for the controller port Im still thinking about the best solution for fitting the modul into the bay.. An idea is using filler for a clean finish and after that using the same foil as for the case.
