Actually, 1.01 is only included is you have a first pressing which includes a DLC card (look for a pink circular sticker on the front), and the Black Label edition isn't up for download yet.

Anyway, it's a great port and gives you loads of display options (Maniac Settings are crazy). I also appreciated the Raiden Fighters Aces collection (though I haven't played the actual in the arcade) for its display options as well, tough not as in depth as Mushihimesama.

 

1.01 is really only for hardcore players. It is *missing something* (I own the 1.0 PCB) and while I like the much more difficult Original, the scoring isn't up to par w/ Cave's other stuff. Black Label which is rather pricey, is much more shoddy port, much like Mega Black Label for DS. So, I'm glad I kept my kit, as I don't really find those modes worth playing. The only thing you get is instant bragging rights for score...even though they're skewed.
