Just got accepted to do some speedruns for the AGDQ charity event in January

    Just a quick update. I said in my original post that i was trying to grind down the world record for Castlevania: Rondo of Blood 100% completion, and i just got a run below my goal time. New WR for the game and category is 36 minutes and 52 seconds. video of the run available at: https://www.twitch.tv/skavenger216/v/95932000

    I really wish the AGDQ organizers would stop trying to do things near DC. The cost is a lot more than it needs to be. There are plenty of convention towns that can handle the event for a hell of a lot less.

    Interesting conspiracy theories there, though I have to call out that PCF actually putting over 60% of the proceeds into cancer research/education is not too bad. Could it be better? Sure, but there are plenty of scams which put less than 5% into the actual charities.
