Some of you may remember there was a thread I made here a few months back about a release of a beta version of Rez. Well, it finally happened, and I have put the beta on the internet. There was no possibility of doing a release in any way other than putting it up anonymously, as the supplier didn't want any accompanying names in the filename or included text. I thought you all would be interested, so I decided to post it here. You can get it from a UG torrent here: MIL-CD (burnable to an 80 Minute CD-R): http://underground-gamer.com/details.php?id=27140 GDI (GD-ROM original dump files): http://underground-gamer.com/details.php?id=27340 (If you need an invite, PM me with your email address) You can also get it on usenet/newsgroups in alt.binaries.dreamcast I don't know the current rules for posting betas to this board, so I hope I haven't violated anything. If so, just edit it out of this thread, thanks.
Wow this is truely amazing. Thanks for the release but I can't access the torrent can someone please post the torrent here or something thanks.
A friend uploaded it here -> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J5HR8VNM Don't know if Megaupload is any better for you, but there you go =)
OMFG woooooooooooooo! I had been wondering what had happened after your initial posts about a possible release. Well done!
:dance:Thumbs Up DArc ! Link to nzb file to save you from refreshing your a.b.c.i.dreamcast (or a.b.dreamcast): http://www.newzleech.com/usenet/?p=3963496 To use with GrabIt and a usenet account (many isp gives free 1G ones).
totally awesomo! I was already thinking that this disc would never see the light of day. But it DOES! Thanks for the efforts put in to make this release.
You guys give me too much credit. I don't know the guy or how he obtained the disc, but I walked him through dumping the GD-R with a BBA and the httpd-ack (bin/raw) method and afterwards he sent me the dump files so I could crack the disc and convert it to a MIL-CD format. He was satisfied with the result so he said that I was free to distribute. Some of you may have noticed the annoying debug menu when you try to play. You can get rid of it with a mouse, but if you don't have one, the supplier just left me a note: "To get rid of the Debug menu, plug a controller into the second port, and press b, scroll down to console, and hit A. The second controller acts as a mouse for moving through the debug menus."
