KratosJohn is a scammer

Basically, I traded a faulty Xbox 360 devmo kit for a retail 360 with a harddrive, controller, cables, all of that (non-hacked, I didnt need a hacked box). So I sent the guy his thing, overnighted even at his request at an additional cost that he paid, and he sent mine. Or what I thought would be mine.

Instead, I got an envelope with a DVD-r in it, which clearly isnt an Xbox. So then he gave me another tracking number, as he said it was to build trust, blah blah, then this tracking number leads to a delivered package in Ohio, which obviously isnt me in NY, so he's basically shit on me.

He's blocked me on AIM, which I confirmed with my second AIM account. Hes also disabled messenger on Xbox-scene, along with signing out from AIM.

He goes by the username of KratosJohn on lots of forums, including AIM. His name and address from paypal are:
John Williams

I could use your help getting some results from this guy. Ive been patient, but he's avoiding me, so if he wants to risk his reputation over an Xbox, then so be it. I will have this thread removed if my Xbox 360 shows up in one piece, tomorrow.

And so when he trys to claim that he sent it, an Xbox does not fit in an envelope, sorry.

You should also mention this (and link back to this thread) on Xbox-Scene and Xbox Hacker (as well as smaller sites such as se7ensins.com and ps3news.com) as he is selling JTAG'ed XBR consoles as well as offering the JTAG service for cash.

I'm sure that those who are thinking about buying from him and/or sending him a perfectly good Xbox to work on would like to know that chances are good that they're never see their money or their system again.

Lol you should try getting in with some of those guys on these cheating forums. I've seen some of them guys get scammed and they find out practically every single detail about who scammed them. Hope you come out on the winning side in this, it's always sad that people try to scam others. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a nice new subscription to a porn magazine lol.

 

I'm still trying to verify the address, there is a house there at that address (streetview) but i can't seem to find anything on the USA whitepages..

I'll help look into it tomorrow borman, but right off I'd say the name 'John Williams' is fake. And looking at his game-tuts account, I automatically see "Nate Leroux" out of his username. I'd work off that for now.

A quick search on facebook yields a few results, and ironically one individual from MD with said name. So that'll give you a starting place until I roll around tomorrow ._.
