Like I said, I just want what was agreed to. Following that, all that disappears, and everyone here knows Im good for exactly what I say.

Shit like this don't deserve that trait, imagine he sends you the money or a xbox now...
So everything disappears just like that? As if he did nothing?
At least his reputation needs to get sinked... for good... seriously borman call the cops..

I wouldn't let it go... he obviously thinks he can do it to several people, so definitely pursue it legally, regardless.

Don't forget to check what IP logs you / Kev have. Report it to the ISP - using your Internet connection to commit fraud is against their TOS no doubt.

    Oh, and:

Assembler, please close this thread. He has ordered an Xbox. When it has arrived here, I will do my part in having this shindig deleted. I am editing out all personal information, I ask that those of you who have posted to edit it, but keep a record of it until it is delivered. Thank you.

Why delete it, it shows what he tired to do in the past, and shouldn't be taken away nor edited.

I decided to look into if he's scammed anyone before, sadly he's in the middle of a deal with someone involving a jtaged 360. I contacted the guy on AIM and tried to warn him, evidently he seems to be going through with the deal.

Good to see this actually being resolved.
I've been scammed too about a year ago. Bought an IS-CGB-EMULATOR on chase the chuckwagon and never heard anything of it again. After sending several mails and getting no reply and getting nothing out of claiming back my money with paypal, I forgot about it. After reading this it began itching again and decided to drop the guy another line. What I got back was:

Should I post his info somewhere, or should I just let it rest and give up (as it's been like a year ago now)?

If you've been scammed share the info so others know.

People can change handles. They can't easily change their real names.

He is more than aware of this as I checked his user log and he's already viewed this thread.

Damn it, I have been caught by the thread not updating once again! I need to log out and clear the cache.

If you want to actually continue to sell stuff on any forums and not have a bad reputation, then you'd do the smart thing and handle this situation in a mature manner, rather than getting pissed off at people. What else is anyone supposed to think of you after all the reports there are on you?

Some people have no common sense. I guess you don't care if you become known as a scammer :)

I feel this might be another ban hammer candidate. What is with the increasing number of people who think that treating others incredibly badly is a just a minor irritation rather than a serious issue?

The sending of an envelope and providing dubious tracking details is evidence enough of intent imho. I am struggling to come up with a genuine excuse for such actions and as such we really should avoid users of this ilk having access to the marketplace at the very least.

    Agreed on the ban hammer.
The thread should stay too. He tried to pull a scam. Failure is irrelevant.
Someone should also go round and kick the c**t out of this c**k for good measure.
