Probably not deserving of a thread but I just couldn't help myself Ahahahahahahahahahahahahah If even remotely true, this system is set up for failure before it even is birthed! I can't even begin to start with the number of things wrong with this hahah :highly_amused:
I'd be amazed if it did actually ship with a PS Move controller and camera ... seems a bit pointless!
It looks good to me, I think it time for me go back to console. I had a enough with my powerful PC gaming due to lack of great games. In my opinion, PS3 is no doubt the best gaming in this generation and their exclusive games too.
i believe sony will stream games to the system like onlive service. you will beable to buy direct from them or... a card from the store.
The rumors about the Nextbox now are that it'll be an AR console. But it won't block used games. Fuck this shit...I'll be playing my N64
If it was worth it. I would be VERY MUCH willing to pay for it. If it's VERY Powerful and wont' become a nuisance for the gaming industry in a few years I would be very much happy to pay for it. But if it blocks used sales. This system won't see a dime from me. Even if it's powerful. And I wouldn't be surprised to see it tanking harder than the Vita. I also think it's silly to ship the PSMove and camera with it. If they do, the thing better have at least 6 USB ports and include a normal controller as well.(Like the Wii U gamepad minus the screen) Someone reminded me that it may not be Sony's wish per se to block Used sales but it may be big third parties like EA or Activision that push it on them and threaten to not develop for it if they don't block it.. Which actually sounds plausible considering the whole online pass bullshit. (Greedy fucks. Oh i'm sorry you think a used sale is a lost sale?) RUMORS DUMORS!
If sony uses Orbis instead of PS4 it will lose its last remaining brand that consumers give two shits about Trinitron? walkman? vaio? who cares... Good luck getting that ban on used games past the EU. And 500 euros? are they high or just retarded? a quad AMD is not even $100 these days, RAM is cheap as hell so unless it has a 7970 that price is bullshit
IGN posted this or Kotaku etc? They're so full of shit... They think they have news to share with gamers around the world but it's all made up. "Certain game studios have received PS4 Devkits, which look like PCs" -_-
Big deal, sony has their own stores and you can order it online and save money anyway But a if the EU says something then sale will be banned in all those countries, which combined are as big as the US, market-wise
That's a fairly pathetic collection of conjecture and to be honest when I come across an article like that which is as poorly-written as to include a sentence like "PS4 titles will look like high-end PC demos you found in Watchdogs, Star Wars 1313 or Square Enix's Luminous tech demo" then I stop paying much attention. Has anyone seen the cost of retail games on SEN right now? They're ludicrously high so they don't piss off retail, who make most of their money these days from used games. They're not going to burn that bridge just yet by forcing you to only play new. As someone who's really been won over the PS3 as this generation has trundled along the one thing that does seem feasible from that list and does concern me is the lack of backwards-compatibility with PS3 titles. I had kind of hoped we could rely on that but the thinking seems to be they want to move to a totally different architecture this time which will rule it out completely. Boo-urns.
