    Yakumo I think that you might just have changed the direction of my life, as of right now I am going to start learning Japanese and eventually immigrate!!

    That place looks like heaven to me, here in RSA I am lucky to see anything older than PS2, and then its probably so expensive I had to purchase it on Credit Card.

    When I first went there about 5 years ago it was also like heaven. These days it's still a great place to go but not "special" anymore. By the way, where is RSA?

    Games are pretty well priced most of the time although they do try and sell rare games for crazy expensive prices. Their hardware prices are stupid as well. Way too expensive. If you are just going to buy games and accessories though, you can get some really nice deals.

    I can sort of understand that, but still here there is absolutely no retro scene here so it still looks good, I would feel like a kid in a candy shop in one of those shops.

    RSA = South Africa

    Ps the console prices doesn't seem that bad, compared to ebay ,especially seeing as you dont need to pay for shipping.

    They have a glass case full of expensive Mega Drive and PC Engine games along with some good SFC and FC titles. In fact they have rare stuff for pretty much every platform in there. As for retro, well. Manga Soko is a retro gamers paradise! Every retro gamer needs to visit there.

    I remember japangaming telling me that the one I go to in Shimosone (minami Kokura) is the head store for all of Japan. This may explain the massive size of it. The only other one I've visited was in Ube, yamaguchi. That's pretty good but not a patch on the Shimosone store.

    I found a brand new yet amazing road today in the Yamaguchi mountain area that leads right to the sea. I've got to get a high speed video done on this road. The uphill section is quite straight but going down kicks arse plus has a fantastic view. Near the top of the road are loads of wind turbines. I tried to go right up to them but the road is closed off.

    GaijinPunch, I'm liking those images. The one of the street Oden store looks like it's straight out of a movie.!

    That was actually a yattai at a festival. Aki Matsuri at Hachimanguu. 800th year it's been around, so, it was a big deal.

    Nice one, Treamcaster. Content Aware Fill? :)

    I have shit tons on my machine that I don't upload. Need to one day -- that's like a whole part time job in and of it self.

    Kind of I guess, it's a neat lighweigh application that does all the job for itself. No knowledge required. Just found out about it today, it's called inpaint and I used one of your great photographs for the test, heh!
