Hahaha, believe it or not, but that was exactly what I was thinking when I saw that picture.

My awesome Photoshop skills! Haha. You see the oddball western car every now and again. Mercedez and high end sports cars you see the most common. Then, every now and again a HUGE SUV (WTF?!). I just saw a Mini the other day -- first time ever. When you think of it, it's an ideal car.

You're joking right? There are loads of minis down here as well as other European cars.

Rarely see them here. I don't even know if there's a dealership in town. Probably is if you search, but it's hardly a prevalent car. I've seen far more Lamborghinis and Feraris. No shit.

Just shows the difference in car taste between the Capital and the rest of the country. I do see a Ferrari every now and then and loads of porches (hate those cars) and even some Yankee over sided gass guzzlers. Once I saw a DeLorian, no shit! But for Mini's, they're everywhere.

I'm quite lucky were I live for car dealers. I live very close to the main car dealer road. It has 13 dealers on it ! All Japanese apart from VW, Renault and Mini.

I see a lot of high end cars that go really fucking fast...ironically in a city where it's basically impossible to go really fucking fast. Seems like a lot of cock-swinging if you ask me.

Indeed. The people of Tokyo love to swing their cocks and display their bevers for sure. Just look at the dress sense and how people always try to look as if they are well off when in reality they live in some shitty dump.

I will say that single women really do have some tough competition. Oh, well.

For the record today, I saw 1 mini (in the world's lowest parking space) just as a Lamborghini drove by.

Now that there is no analogue TV in Japan people have been dumping their CRTs at collection points. Today I had to go and dump some arcade parts and CRT arcade monitor for someone (don't worry, it had shit image quality). It was a sad sight to see all these perfectly fine CRT screens just dumped. Actually, this was an empty day. Normally there's 3 times as many as there are in this photo. Looks like they had recently been cleared away. I'd take some home but they've been sitting in mud and rain.

They just get junked and recycled into other things. There's a lot of gold and copper in PCB boards aparently.

Here is the set at (Bean) Flickr, in case you want to read my awesome, witty banter for each... it really does help. But, for you lazy asses, I've posted the images stripped of verbal humor.

What's their problem with foreign shows on Fuji TV? European television is filled to the top with US and UK shows and nobody complaints. Don't tell me it's some post-war racism crap again.

These people are fucking idiots. 2 years back Japanese were sucking korean cock as hard as possible with the so called "Korean Boom". Yep, all are very shallow idiots with no life. Who gives a shit if there are loads of Korean TV Shows? It's nit as if Japanese shows are any better. In fact Korean K-pop is identical to J-pop in sound and image and Korean dramas are just as piss poor as Japanese ones. Honestly, these people din't know what they want.

Do you leave Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, etc? As I have seen a lot of Minis (the original BMC ones and not the shitty BMW ones) around the Tokyo area, there is a Mini dealership (that sells old Minis) just north of Nakano. There are three minis between me and the nearest conbi store.

Yakumo : I know that the Analogue signal has been switched off in most of Japan, but aren't there set top boxes to get the mostly crap Digital TV stations? That does seem a waste although i did see a recycle place not too far with lots of TVs and I did not think anything of it (as it had a ton of other things too...).

My local Wonder Goo shut down and moved to a newly built place about 300m down the road, before they started to take the front down / demolise the building, I decided to take this image as I thought it was quite funny as it was rare to see anything outside the normal second hand stuff, everything Nintendo (except Pokemon Mini and Virtual Boy) was there as was the Playstation but the other consoles, Saturn sometimes was there (normally 21 yen copies of VF, VF2, VF Remix...), as was Dreamcast, Xbox was there but just multiple copies of DoA3... Super Casettevision, TV Jack and Laseractive, were probably in the fickle mind of the person wriiting this.
