Built a new board to offer in my sales section.

4 for testers, need to be able to install in a timely manner (no point giving to someone who cant have results in a quick amount of time) and be willing to post some instructions and results of their work.

Price is free, including shipping. Open world wide.

This looks nice. Got an idea what the price will be for this kit?

Would like to help, but I don't have a spare 1CHIP available. I could replace the SuperCIC in my own, but I think it's better if this opportunity benefits someone who doesn't have a modded system at all :)

EDIT: Oh wait! I just remembered that I have a 1CHIP US SNES. I'm up for trying this kit then :)

I'll PM you my address :)

If you have any available I'm interested. I have all sorts of SNES and Famicom board revisions and can work on it right away. My Tv's are also NTSC and PAL compatible. I'm in the US.

Gone to Bearking, TriState294 (via PM), malcolm and XeDK.

If there are anymore revisions that need testing before I sell them, will be in touch with others that expressed interest.

I can tell you I'd be down to buy a few units once they're available. Doing these by hand is a PITA.

If you can handle the SMD soldering, there is already a version by a borti that is already tested as working and a neater install (connects directly to the cart slot to get most of the connection).

But he doesnt offer them preassembled. This is why I have made this kit - I also wont be selling preassembled, but anyone whos changing a CIC, can handle building the board with DIP components.

Are the test boards you're sending out preassembled or just raw boards? I didn't even think to ask that...but if they're raw boards, I need to order some components.

They are preassembled with all components, to make testing faster for everyone.

What new version? Kit is just the chips, as was described when you asked what was in it.

Also when this is for sale, it will cost more.

I've read my nick name (or at least a part of it) :D
Just to clarify, I do not sell the boards officially/professionally. However, I do have some prototypes to sell from time to time. The word ‚prototype‘ in this sense just means that I do have just a few PCBs at home made for just reviewing minor changes in design, traces, distances, PCB manufacturer service and so on… The functionality is the same since a long time ;) I spread the prototypes to people who ask me for a board or for some boards - I never posted that anywhere and it does not need that long until everything is gone. :D As a side note: I have placed an order a few hours ago for 10 prototype boards at a new manufacturer with a minor tweak (dual-support of crystals in SMD and THT as the SMD once are hard to find).
I also give them preassembled away ;)

However, the big advantage of this board here is that all parts are THT components. So there no problem to assemble the PCB for everyone who is able to install the mod into the SNES ;)
Just a question: why do you use the 'good old' IGR by Ikari_01? Is there anything you don't like with my 'improved' version? Any wishes are welcome to further improve the code or to introduce an alternative version!!!

uIGR support is planned eventually, this is a revision of a board I did long before you started your work on improvements.
