looking for media on the 3DO M2 prerendered or simulated demos

looking for pics or videos of 'simulated' 3DO M2 demos: 'Car' and 'Dungeon'

I'm looking for any screenshots and/or videos of the prerendered or simulated M2 demos.

1.) the M2 car demo - the futuristic one. pretty darn impressive. was either 60fps or 30fps, don't recall but it looked great.

2.) the AD&D style, 1st person demo where you see an orc-like creature, or some kind of monster deflecting your attack with a shield or something, as you walk through a narrow space like a cave or dungeon, if I recall correctly. this demo impressed me especially. when I saw it on television in 1995 or 1996, it struck me because of its smoothness. I had recorded it on VHS. it was almost definitely 60fps. sadly I no longer have the recorded footage. from what I remember, it looked like it could've been prerendered CG, but could also have been realtime on a highend SGI workstation. this demo is *not* the doom/quake style FPS demo with an alien monster



the demos were either prerendered CG, or they were realtime simulations on high-powered workstations, but not running realtime on M2

-ive seen the green polygon donuts / rings / mpeg demo, so no need to see that again.

i got a bunch of those image maybe 20-50 and the car demo i got as movie something 5 sec long
oh and i have 3 or 4 magazines with prototype pictures but didnt have time to scan those maybe next week ill try to upload the other pictures

 

oh do try would love to see those.

ok i found around 20 images of power crystal i load them up tomorow also found i think 4 or 5 of imsa racing still searching my directory cause i miss many pictures (have found something around 100 pictures of 3do m2 games and hardware but have to recheck them some are quiet bad quality =(

 

hmmm what about the swimming dolphin demo i remember that one would have been cool to see (at least in pictures)

 

What does 'fz' stand for?

@WolverineDK you could check out the internetarchive.org they have the 3do sites still downloadable including the quicktimes so maybe your dolphin demo is there

is this the dolphin demo you remember? I don't remember a dolphin demo, well, I do remember a sail boat demo, maybe it had a dolphin in it, maybe not.

 

yeah should be around 10 or 20 and someone did post a movie from a expo of the d2 presentation i think it was the member who runs the retrocore project

i load the other stuff up today (reminds me i have to check my archos videoplayer for the missing pictures)

btw. if i am not wrong there are either two different d2 versions or one is the d2 game and the other a dungeon demo and i mixed both somehow

cool, cannot wait to see anything else that you have. I've been dying to see the dungeon demo, the one I tried to describe in my original post, ever since I recorded over the footage I had of it.

edit: using the search words:- 3DO M2 Dolphin demo - in google groups / dejanews for a usenet newsgroup search, it seems that the M2 Dolphin demo is connected to the M2 Sailboat demo that most of us remember. thus, they are most likely in the same demo.
