As some of you know I've had a few back surgeries.
As a result I have a lot of fatigue issues.

I was trying a few energy drinks, etc.

Anyone take something they would recommend?
    (no redbull or bawls please)

Mountain Dew Code Red? Never worked on me but a friend of mine claims it's an energy booster.

Maybe you could try Power Bar Gel, it's like a mix of an energizer and restores nutrients and stuff. I use it a lot when I have long Jiu Jitsu or K1 training sessions and it really works for me.

    Steven Seagal's Lightening Bolt ;)

I would stay away from energy drinks. I find that I have more energy when I wake up earlier and eat a balanced breakfast (which is around 10% of the time).

Can you ride a bike or anything like that? My endurance has improved as I've ridden mine, but I need to make it more of a habit.

There's caffeine tablets called "No Doz" which work a treat in the short term (like studying for exams) but I think have some significant side effects with long term use. In Australia they're available in 7-11 style shops.

You might want to look into Redline... it's pretty serious stuff and you kind of have to be careful when you take it (only drink it on a full stomach, never drink more than 5ml at a time, etc.), but it's probably the most effective energy drink around. You can get it at any GNC and places like that.

It really is. One of my friends likened it to olives, molasses, and cigarettes (which I'd say is a pretty accurate description). He chugged one and vomited immediately afterward.

the cherry one taste like tomatoes and cherries if they were carbonated.

the other flavor "asian experience" taste the same...just with no cherry. just. carbonated tomato.

Sounds like some V8 Splash experiment gone wrong. That shit was so terrible the last time I had it...

just get plenty of sleep and eat properly. Energy drinks are nothing more than sugar and water and in some cases caffeine.

The only "energy" sniff I know is probably cocaine:p

    v8 splash is great.

this is just. straight v8. v8 splash is like, fruits and shit. and its not carbonated.

this is just. tomato. with carbonation.

anyway, energy drinks work. but not "energy". They just keep you up...
