I think it is like Red Bull so it probably not what you are looking for but my Mom recently started drinking Amp and she said it has really made a difference.
Try a protein shake like this one http://register.eas.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?item=3211§ion=10027 Pretty much decent for fast recovery and general wellness.
Stay away from energy drinks, those have way too much taurine, which is bad for your heart. I've tried everything (except barc0de's magical pixie dust) and nothing beats a good old cup of coffee.
Don't try to compensate by sleeping more, and also forget the snooze. The more you sleep, the more you'll need sleep and feel sleepy. Do sleep your minimum and maybe some more though.
I have dealt with energy drinks during crunch time in college, and here are my findings: Coffee actually works well. Not just any kind of coffee though, invest some interest in it. Go buy some interesting flavours or coffee from interesting places. You might find some you like much more than usual and enjoying what you're drinking is a huge part of it (for me, anyways) I have tried "energy drinks" as well, with some mixed success. Recently I have found the drink "Nos" to be good, a bit pastey but easy to drink quickly and it doesn't give me the shakes. I find the original "Monster" energy drink to be good too, sour flavour (shocking sometimes - its a good thing) I use this one to keep me awake when driving late at night for a few hours. If you are looking for something to give you energy over a long period of time look into something that contains B vitamins, as they stay in your system for quite a few hours. Many of the Sobe drinks contain these, so check them out. Sobe drinks might be fun to experiment with, as each different flavour tends to contain a different set of active medicinal ingredients. I'm partial to the "Dragonfruit" flavour myself. Best of luck!
You know those energy drinks will put you in an early grave. I reccomend Green tea (caffienated) excerise and sleep.
That reminds me of one of his movies where he's talking to another person and they used profile shots of each person's face...Segal's face took up 3/4 of the screen... Also, when I tried the Segal drink I had the De Niro look on my face for a few moments...it was that bad.
Somebody made a vegetable juice joke earlier, but I've found that good old salty V8 actually helps with the energy and fatigue if I've been sick. Real nutrients from the leafy greens is better for electrolyte replacement than Gatorade, and it doesn't hurt to get vitamins from a food source rather than in a raw pill format. Don't expect it to get you through composing a term paper or an all-night trucking run, but for general health you can't beat it.
You got to love scientist they can never agree on things  The best I've heard in a while was when some "scientist" said that all plastic kitchenware that was colored black gave you cancer.
