    OMGWTFBBQ bloodz! Society is dooooommmeed!

Fuck off. If I'm 18\19+ and want to see fake people being disembowled, thats my business, not the state's. If I do the disembowling, then I want the state involved, but not before.

    A few points

Manhunt 2 will get released in the UK, it may need a few cuts here and there but then again so did GTA in Germany, what was funny about that was the fact it had a lower age rating then in most European countries because of that, despite it being just as violent.

The game won't suck like BMX XXX so all the publicity means money saved not having to advertise it as much. The BBFC are giving Manhunt 2 several pages of free advertising.

Until the government start enforcing age ratings then censorship is always going to happen.

Should still hit number 1 in the charts when it does come out.

Meh I'm not that fussed with this one. I played the first Manhunt and really couldn't get into it, it just seemed like violence for the sake of it. If it seemed more artistic I'd probably feel different, but it's too much like "let's be as controverisal as possible" style publicity to me.

Oh well, is it only UK, or is it the rest of Europe too that will maybe get the censored version ? since it is kind of VERY irritating if UK controls what games that goes in the rest of Europe. Since it was really because of a stupid fucking law in UK, that the rest of Europe got a non chako in Soul Blade back then. But if UK doesn´t control rest of EU, then I can see a future in UK citizens asks EU people to buy the game through them and then the EU man or woman can send them the uncensored game.

Hold your horses. The BBFC governs the UK, not Europe. If the knock on effect of the ban continues into Europe then that is down to the software companies and not the UK.

Shit man, it looks like us adults are now being pushed aside as ussual when we need something to get our anger managed. Again, and again, it is just so fucking typical. Damn, is anyone fond of Manowar like I am ? since that music can really make me feel great, when I am angry. Since after I have sung to the songs, and played air drums. Then I am down to Earth like a kitten . And my anger is gone.

Not quite. Since Sony also brought the bar down on AO rated games in this case, they have no choice but to either appeal or cut stuff to make it M rated. I dare say it will come out on the wii in some form (If Nintendo still barred them from releasing it when it is re-rated as M, it will cause a giant shit storm).

Yeah its a shame for Rockstar because I bet there going to lose loads on working on the Wii version to have it not published at all unless they tone it down. All thats left is the PS2 version?

I don't understand why Namco had to remove this weapon from its PS conversion of Soul Edge (or should that be Soul Blade, for all you PAL owners?) when Sega managed to release Last Bronx for the Saturn around the same time frame with that supposedly offensive item untouched by censorship!

The Wii makes this kind of game even worse potentially. Beating people to death with the Wiimote? That's just wrong.

Funny you should mention it, but Soul Blade (well I don´t know any other name for Soul Edge on PSX in pal land). It was a British law, that forbid Nunchakos to be shown in games. And back then. almost everything on PSX went through the British censors before it hit the markets every where else.

I know there was a change in the law around then, so perhaps Sega got in just afterwards? For the longest time Enter The Dragon and Way of the Dragon were heavily editted in the UK, but the change saw them get rereleases with Nunchukas back in. CHEER!

I saw one of those 3D rape simulators from japan the other day, and some of those are quite elaborated, so I wouldnt be surprised if someone made one for the Wii, even if unlicensed.

But anyway, it was actually a joke:lol:
