Manhunt 2 not to be released in the UK

WTF ??? where are the links, you are thinking off, and WTF ? does UK still rule the censor laws in EU ?

Sorry for cursing, I just think it is crazy, if EU bans it, just because of the violence. Since then I want footie banned, and all others sports, where either players, or the spectators goes in and punches the judge, or the players on the field. Where no punches are allowed. By neither players, and spectators.

 

I think freedom of expression is at steak here. First this , then what?

Europe was one of the least censored places on the civilized globe, and it's a shame that some folks still want to have a firm grip on what people *should* think.

In the end, if you're a violent psychopath deep inside, it's your own business as long as you don't harm anyone. Playing such a game may even relieve you and stop you from actually commiting a crime.

If anything, it's like saying that the subject of rape should be banned from movies, because it may glorify raping in real life - but no one really censors movies that easily.

When I was a child of 12/13 there I got my SNES. And when my teacher had been violent at me or I had been bullied(or somebody kicked my arse and stuff) (yeah I had a violent teacher , and alot of bad stuff happened , but enough that crap right).
There I went home, and played Killer Instinct and SF2, and SF2 turbo. So my temperment was just a bit at ease. But would I ever go out and do the stuff like in the games ? No bloody fucking way would I do that.
But anyway, people wants to ban, and censor stuff. I just think it is bloody stupid, and just bloody fucking imbecile crazy. But anyway, censorship in alot of ways fucking sucks. That is why I am so damn happy, that I can curse here without a censoring filter

 

Not only that but as long as nobody KNOWS you did hurt/kill anyone, you're safe, yet the guys who says/writes a song/plays a game about killing people get all the wrong looks...

Well, your country isn´t exactly a democracy whether the regime calls themself a democracy or not. But we are pissed off over is the joke in where it is "illegal" and the hypocracy around it. Since there are games which is in my mind worse than this game. Is legal, and football matches are more violent too. So when Manhunt 2 is "illegal" in some EU terms , or very censored then the common man begins to get angry. To me there are worse hentai games and perverse, which are legal. But not Manhunt, so let us just say. Something is fucking wrong, when violent footie matches, and just plain old violent people are perfectly legal to show. But not Manhunt 2. Without it is being heavily censored.

 

i think the british board of censorship or whatever it's called is concerned with Sadistic (ie enjoyment out of killing in various perverse ways) tendencies etc.

That said, in my view, if a man likes to eat his steak raw he should be able to, despite some calling him a savage.

 

Hmmm I would say, Fatal Relations is a more perverse game and sick game than Manhunt 2 is. And I couldn´t really give a rats ass about that board, if it didn´t affect us NON UK people in Europe. But since it does, then it makes me more than just normally pissed off.
