Not sure I know what you mean. If you mean the final released version of the game, there are things left over in the game files, like the Japanese voice track that was intended for the Japanese version of the game, but they decided to use the english voices in all versions.

 

Your "Biohazard 2 GBA" link is wrong. It's pointing to the "Resident Evil 1.5 Background Rips" file.

One has a Debug Menu and the other does not.

 

Is that alternative build official? There were supposed to be two full debug builds, but I only remember one being released.

 

Yes. They were the ones released randomly last year around January. Both are identical except that one of them has a debug menu.

 

Very good. The Resident evil 3 trial, how far can you go?

 

Its timed, so its as far as you can get in 5 minutes. With hacks you can disable the timer and go as far as you want IIRC. I could be wrong though because the RE2 trial, even if you hack the timer, you still cannot go far because there is a big chunk of rooms missing.
