Wasn't that build 50% complete? I think it was shown at the same show as the biohazard 2 private theater trailer.

There's Ign's lesser known biohazard 2 debug build, earlier or later than beta 1 or 2 who knows.

Interessting. Have you any information about the Sega Saturn Sample Build? I've never heard of that one before.

 

sure,i got infos..havent played it that far cause it sucks to play on a emulator..seems to have debug stuff enabled too

 

There was a Saturn build of RE2 (Not 1.5) over on BetaArchive's FTP server dated as a late 1997 build. It barely ran well and felt more like a fan hack than a real thing. You could only get to the police station entrance before it crashed. There was no debug menu and it was more like a tech demo than anything. There was only Leon playable. Claire/Elza was missing. I can't verify its authenticity and would not be surprised if it was some version of the original RE for Saturn that someone modded with RE2 rooms and models. I have no access to their server anymore so I have no idea if it is still there, but If someone has an account they can check or simply ask on the forums.

It is definitely worth checking out if you have access there, and a modded Saturn to check it out on.

Must've either been proven fake or removed randomly then.
Perhaps other sites have it like Hidden Palace or something.

Resident Evil 2 for Saturn was leaked on BetaArchive, but as I said, many doubted its authenticity since nobody made a big deal over it, and it felt very fan made.
It MAY have been real, but I doubt it.

 

Dude we (Joseph_Capelli and me) are speaking of the "resident evil beta sample" for the saturn, not the resident evil 2 version.

sure,they exist,with debug,but still in hand of some collectors (not in my hands)

Has anyone done a fix to RE2 GBA so it works on hardware? I've had no luck getting it running outside an emulator
