[MEGA] Resident Evil/Biohazard Betas (Lots of goodies)

Resident Evil fans rarely release Beta's if they get them in their hands. They are called "Beta Hoarders". Obviously it is their choice if they release it or not, but in the RE Fanbase, this causes massive rifts in the community. When the RE 1.5 craze was strong last year with the beta builds being leaked, many people, especially on THIA, were quick to claim that the beta was "Theirs" and anyone with it "Stole It". That's just how the RE Community is.

Yeah this is something I'll never understand. Totaly weird how people can going nutz because of beta/trial stuff. For the fucks sake

 

Its called "Self Entitlement". People seem to think they have the sole right to the beta. I wish the fanbase was more like the Silent Hill fanbase, at least with them they all are happy to see Silent Hill beta's without spouting all of the drama.

 

Haha. As a mod over there, there's nothing wrong with this statement (though honestly put, I haven't been over there or on the majority of other RE fan communities due to the sheer amount of drama for a while - it's worse than the FF communities).

If it was something complete or near complete and was extremely hyped up, I can understand the behavior but for smaller builds with little to no differences it's a bit ridiculous.

Though I do appreciate having the different versions documented to get a general insight to the development process between each build.

If I were to get an earlier build without any strings attached or without having to take a massive loss, I wouldn't mind sharing it but at the very least I'd document it properly provided that there is actually something worthwhile to document but I certainly wouldn't go screaming and demanding to get something for free.
