The artwork for Mega Man 9 is awesome (because it's so ridiculus). It looks just like the terrible artwork you would have expected Capcom USA to come up with if Mega Man 9 had come out in those days.
And I completely agree with your statements as well, especially those two. Many long lasting series have suffered that fate... and that always makes me wonder, Am I just not liking the new games because I fell so in love with the old style, look, and gameplay? But that cant be it, cuz the games just get worse and worse... *sonic* for example... And you know what GOH, I am going to have to agree with you on that. I wont lie, Megaman X4 and 8 werent too bad. They were probably the end of them being good for me. I would still prefer SNES, but hey, the music in Megaman 8 was great, and Megaman X4 was not too bad. After that though... the end. Cant wait for Megaman 9!!! :thumbsup:
Definately the end of them being good for me as well, although i played the first Megaman Zero game and it was ok. I must say that i thought X4 was one of the best MM games ever. Probably my favorite in the X series, along with X1.
The ZX games aren't even Mega Man. It's just using the name as the titles would not have sold other wise.
If you pretend they aren't Mega Man Games they aren't I've been playing Mega Man 5 The last few days.....and it's kicking my ass.....I think I know what to expect next month

Megaman Zero was very good. I forgot to mention that. Before I was just talking about the two main series of Megaman though, but definately. ZX was great. And pretty damn hard too! :nod:
can you only have 9 of them at a time? and where do we get them on ledges almost impossible to reach with out a spring backed robo dog? :lol:

I've been waiting a long time for capcom to FINALLY make a ninth game in the classic series, and seeing this in 8-bit form makes me want the game even more-too bad i don't have a next gen console to play it on:crying: i really dont understand why so many people complain about the direction on developing it in the style of a nes game. i though it was an excellent idea and it makes the game more appealing.
