Site NEWS December 20th 2009 - Merry Christmas! Yes, it's coming or here or even been depending upon when you've read this page but what ever the situation Segagaga Domain is giving all you Saturn fans a present this year. Free to all that have a clue about booting a CD-R on their Saturn (Don't mail me asking how to, Google is your friend!) is the Japanese store sample version of X-Men. Since this disc was never on sale Capcom aren't loosing money as it will never be distributed via any other format. "So what's so special about this sample?", I hear you say. Well, it's actually based upon very early game code including many aspects from the arcade game. Basically it's a beta of the final game.

So how can I get this X-Men game? Very simple. On December 25th I will add a download link to this front page. Click the link, download the cue & bin file and burn to a CD-R using Nero or your favorite CD burning software then play away in your Saturn using either the disc swap trick or a modified Saturn. The game will be in the Japanese region format so PAL and US Saturn owners will need to convert the image if booting via the disc swap method.

This week sees 3 new Saturn games added to the archive being Beach de Reach! - Honkaku 4Jin Uchi Geinoujin Taikyoku Mahjong and Honkaku Pro Mahjong Tetsuman Special. Yes, all mahjong games. Yawn city I know but they need be added.

Site NEWS January 2nd 2010 - Happy New Year!! So how was it for you? Family affair? Night out ? Stayed at home? However it was I hope you had a good one. So to kick of the new year how about some true retro updates with 2 new Mega CD additions, F1 Circus CD and Shadow of the Beast II plus a Mega Drive addition, Tel Tel Mahjong. Not only that but I've added the Space Channel 5 Mil-CD to the Dreamcast section.

Movie Vault additions this week include Sonic Adventure - Soul Calibur and Tokyo Bus Guide for the Dreamcast. And a few Mega CD movies including F1 Circus CD - Shadow of the Beast II and The Heroic Legend of Arslan.

Site NEWS February 14th 2010 - Happy Valentines Day to all of our lady visitors. Just think yourself lucky because here in Japan Valentines Day is for men only. Women have their own day in March called White Day which just isn't the same.

Anyway, this week I have more Mega CD updates. Maybe I should rename the site to Mega CD Domain (^o^). New games added to the Mega CD section are Lethal Enforces II and Egawa Suguru's Super League CD. The Justifier has also been added to the Mega Drive hardware section.

Site NEWS February 22nd 2010 - The rain has finally stopped and my car can now look clean and shinny again. Good old days. Oh, wait a minute, I've got to go to work tomorrow. Bugger! Oh well, at least there's some lovely updates for the site today. Starting off with some new movies. Mega CD movie additions are Battle Corps - Earnest Evans - Lethal Enforcers II and Nostalgia 1907. There's also 2 Saturn movie updates. First is Baroque Data File then Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu and finally an updated video for I Miss You since the last version sort of dragged on.

New scans and info added this week for the Mega Drive game, Flash Back. Only the most rare of all the SunSoft mini Mega Drive boxed games. Also new improved scans for Mega CD games, Rise of the Dragon, Lunar Silver Star Story and Earnest Evans. I've also added Battle Corps to the site. New Saturn updates are Baroque Report Data File and Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu.

@Yakumo Why do you water mark your videos? And Why don't you upload to youtube and embed rather than the way you are doing? More people would discover your videos if you upped to Youtube.

 

All very good reason.

1. I take the time and effort to make my videos. I don't want idiots ripping them off as their own, which they do! I even had wankers saying they made Retro Core!!

2. You Tube quality is piss poor and limited to 10 minutes and slow as hell. By hosting videos on my own server I have unlimited time limits and quality as good or as poor as I want it.

You'd be surprised at just how many visitors I get. I don't really need to advertise on YouTube. Those stats featured on the "tracking" icon are way off. Last year SegagagaDomain had 3.8 million visitors which excludes refresh pages. All unique visitors. This year I'm already at 672389 visitors and it's only March. :thumbsup:

Site NEWS March 31st 2010 - A bit of a late update this week but all due to a good reason. I was waiting for my RGB modded Wondermega to arrive and let me tell you it was well worth the wait. many of you will have noticed the poor video quality on the Mega CD videos. This is due to the Wondermega's composite video out. Mine had a problem with the S-Video out so composite was all I had. Now thanks to this RGB mod my s-video port works however I doubt I'll be using that with the lovely RGB port added!. Just check out this week's additions to see the different in quality. Newly added movies are - Aisle Lord - Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Meshika - Burai - Mega Schwarzschild - Shin Megami Tensei - Tenbu: Mega CD Special and Tenka Fubu: Eiyuutachi no Houkou.
