Minecraft is great! I'm kinda addicted... It's just Lego for computer nerds . I spend hours building all kinds of stuff and keeping the monsters at bay. It's now the only game I play. About the performance of the game: don't let the simple graphics fool you. The world/level consist completely of blocks with many properties. It uses more resources then you might think. Although it needs a fair share of debugging and optimizing, because there are loads of issues with JRE's and Intel graphic cards etc.
Of course it's done, it's out on the market and they're selling it. It is done, all they're doing is patching it, something that is done on all other PC games anyway.
Its not done until the developer says it is. And the developer says its in beta. And since the actual "launch" is in November, it's not done. Content is being added, a big update is due in the next month or two, bugs are still being fixed, code still being rewritten. Will the actual launch be much different in performance? Probably not, but until it launches, casting judgment on an unfinished game is a bit unfair.

I hope you're kidding. I'm sorry but I don't see any fun in trolling. Does bothering other people make you feel important or something? Personally I don't like online games, but other people enjoys them and I wouldn't like to put effort in something, just to see my work being flushed down the toilet just for the fun of it... It's common sense, not doing what you wouldn't like others to do to you.
